Nicollette Sheridan Jealous of 'Wives,' Says Ex - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

November 19, 2007 -- 'DESPERATE Housewives" star Nicollette Sheridan had a bitter rivalry going with her co-stars, according to her ex-fiancé.

Niklas Soderblom, the Swedish-born actor and trainer she dumped two years ago to reconnect with singer Michael Bolton, is trying to find a publisher for a tell-all about Sheridan.

Not surprisingly, according to excerpts published yesterday in London's Daily Mail, he is angry and ready to tell her secrets.

"It was a competition," he said of her relationship with co-stars Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria.

"She was a middle-aged woman in Hollywood and deep down I am sure she sees 'Desperate Housewives' as her last big break," he wrote.

"When she landed the role of Edie in 'Desperate Housewives,' it was initially only going to be for a few episodes, and she was very stressed-out," he writes.

But even after she was hired as a regular, Soderblom says, she never felt part of the cast.

"She was devastated when the posters for the show showed the other four women, but not her.

"She started crying. She said she was sure the producers intended to ditch her character. She exploded.

"She screamed: 'Don't you get it? Haven't you seen the posters? Teri, Marcia, Felicity, Eva . . . but no Nicollette,' "he quoted her as saying.

" 'Do you get it? No Nicollette. They don't give a -- about me. It's like I don't exist.' "

Sheridan and Soderblom had a year-and-a-half relationship that started before the series began.

Sheridan, 44, is reportedly expecting her first child with Bolton, according to several sources on the set of the show.

So far, she has refused to confirm the reports.

Sheridan and the singer are engaged but no date for a wedding has been set.

How many relationships has Nicolette had? It just seems odd to have first child now. Wasn't she with Harry Hamlin a decade or so ago?

I wouldn't be surprised about Nicolette being jealous of her female co-stars getting more attention and publicity than her. That stuff happens all the time in the tv and movie industry with actors being jealous of one another and i don't know why. I've never been a jealous person so i could care less if other people are doing better than me financially.

That stuff happens all the time in the tv and movie industry with actors being jealous of one another and i don't know why. I've never been a jealous person so i could care less if other people are doing better than me financially.
