Thumbs down Worst 5 Advertising Mascots

This is a spinoff of tv star collector's thread about the best advertising mascots. Here are my picks for the worst:

The Burger King
The Duracell battery people
The Subway sock puppet
The Charmin cartoon bears
Those people who sing and dance that stupid Pepto Bismol jingle

1- MR WENDYS! (the "unofficial" spokesman for Wendys<if only THAT had been true!)
2- The Energizer Bunny......years ago David Letterman used a baseball bat on this annoying creature....I guess he should have nuked him!
3- The shi***ng in the woods bear family, for Charmin.....Boy do I agree Cat....Mr Whipple died this weekend, and is spinning in his coffin to have been replaced by this LAME (and somewhat gross) ad campaign!
4- The Creepy Burger King/serial killer King (What happened to the fat-nose cartoon version?)
5- The Wendys "Red Wig" people........Not as bad as Mr Wendy but.....BK should really FIRE their ad agency! (And that baconator burger makes my arteries harden, just looking at it! )

The best ones:
1- Bibbendum (AKA Michelin Man): For nearly 120 years he's been extolling the virtues of the best tires on the road, Bravo!
2- The Esso Tiger: Put a tiger in your tank, what message could be more simple or effective?
3- Mr Peanut : Peanuts are classy food, thats his message and, it works!
4- Snap Crackle and Pop(Rice Crispies): the noise the cereal makes....how cool is THAT?
5- Mr Clean: he hasnt changed in more than 50 years, that says something!

Josephine the lady plumber (Jane Withers)
Fruit of the Loom Fruit Quartet
Sonny the Cocoa Puffs cuckoo bird
Count Chocula
Frankenberry

For some inexplicable reason, all these commercials produced more annoyment
than enjoyment for me. And I also find the Burger King mascot a bit scary.

Mikey, I forgot about the Wendy's people. Poor Dave Thomas must be spinning in his grave!!

Words cannot describe how creepy I find the Burger King. They even sold Burger King masks for Halloween. Disturbing.

Default TVs favorite plumber was Josephine, the mascot and spokesperson for Comet Cleanser

(I had to look it up....was SO long ago)...Here's Jane as a child star in the 1930s......Fans of M*A*S*H might remember that joke Hawk made when Frank oredered a "Shirley Temple", Hawk said he ordered it with a "Jane Withers chaser"; you might say Jane was the "poor man's Shirley Temple!"
