I have always enjoyed KTLA. It has been a great station for as long as I can remember. The shows they will be airing are PHENOMENAL!!!! Now, this is an example of how TVLAND SHOULD BE!!!!!!!

i dont live in ca anymore but when i did i used to watch ktla all the time i fact at one point my family and i only lived about 10 minutes away from the ktla studios .i wonder if tom hatten is going to do the popeye show again for old times sake ? it sure wouldnt be a popeye show without tom and his awsome drawings

Too bad I don't get KTLA anymore.

I used to enjoy their morning show, even though the stories usually meant nothing to me. lol The personalities were more interesting than anyone in this town. But I heard a lot of the people I watched aren't there anymore. Too bad.

3:00 PM - Dr. Kildare -> One of the pioneering medical dramas...not sure if the half-hour or full-hour version is being shown, but both were surperb.
10:30 PM - Peter Gunn -> Great private eye genre series.
1:30 AM - Alfred Hitchcock -> The Master.

Sunday, November 25
5:00 PM - Please Don't Eat The Daisies -> I haven't seen this series since it was first broadcast.
7:00 PM - Father Knows Best -> This should have been one of the very first DVDs burned in beta testing.
2:30 AM - Tarzan -> If this is the series starring Mr. Ron Ely, I cannot remember ever seeing this in syndication. I had thought it lost and abandoned in some dusty warehouse.

You can get it in the superstations package on Dish Network, so many people may have it, even outside LA.

Oh ok, it's a cable channel, I was under the impression it was just a local LA channel.

This is just not any local TV thing...it is a historic marathon with very rare shows. It's not like a marathon of just one show. And if you have satellite you can get KTLA, even if you're not in LA. You should appreciate this, even if you can't see it. Don't be selfish.

The problem is that in order to get this marathon I'd have to add a $6 programming package to the Home satellite bill, and right now's not a great time to do that - just to see some old TV shows.
