Default Father Knows Best Interview by Elinor Donahue in new Classic TV Book

New Classic TV Interview Book (Bewitched, Hazel, Dobie, Beaver, Lucy)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wanted to let my fellow Classic TV fans know about a book that I wrote coming out next month. It's called "Close-ups: Conversations with Our TV Favorites" and contains new and exclusive interviews and conversations with some of the most beloved stars of classic TV.

I interviewed Elinor Donahue (a lenghty and enjoyable one!) and she spoke highly of her days on the show, about her co-stars, how the show was produced, her favorite episodes, etc.

It's written from a fan's point of view and asks the questions we've always wanted to ask if we had the chance. "What was life like on the set? What are your favorite episodes? Who did you keep in touch with?" If it sounds like your cup of tea, please read on.

The following is a list of people in the book:

Bewitched/Designing Women: Alice Ghostley

The Big Valley: Peter Breck

Father Knows Best / The Andy Griffith Show:

Elinor Donahue

Hazel: Lynn Borden

Hazel: Ray Fulmer

I Love Lucy: Keith Thibodeaux

The Jeffersons / 227: Marla Gibbs

Lassie: Jon Provost

Leave it to Beaver: Barbara Billingsley

Leave it to Beaver: Tony Dow

The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis: Dwayne Hickman

Mission: Impossible: Peter Lupus

The Mothers-In-Law: Kaye Ballard

My Three Sons: Stanley Livingston

The Waltons: Jon Walmsley

What's Happening!! / What's Happening Now!!:

Ernest Thomas

What's Happening!! / What's Happening Now!!:

Haywood Nelson

Wow, that sounds like it'll be a fun read! Glad you got Alice Ghostley in there, she just passed away in Sept of this year.
