Talking The Division

Do you think that Nancy's character Jinny is alot like Jo?She curses and thinks up schemes like in THE NEW GIRL.The show is great, even though I'm a boy and 12.By the way what happened to the people at the radio station because I didn't see it?

Hey Pippa, where have you been? Anyway, the show is deinfitely interesting. Whoever said this character could be Jo if she never went to Eastland might be right. Although I'm not sure if Jo would sleep around quite so much.

Off topic: Anyone else notice we are no longer like "senior members"? We are now "board hounds"
except TJ, who is "The Big Dog" lol

I like the show! Not as good as the facts, but it's a whole different genre. Oh, and Nancy HAD to have had a nose job. So far, I like her character and whoevcer Lisa Videl (I can't remember her character's name) the best. I think that tomarrow, I'll register on the Division message board. (But this one will still be numero uno! ) Any other Jo (Jinny?) fans - care to join me? Okay...got to go! Bye!

I thought it was pretty good..alot of characters thrown at us at once.

I thought the blonde girl, Det. DeLorenzo(sp?) was the one who acted most like 'Jo' and I like the chemistry between her and her new partner. The captain was also entertaining as well as Lisa Vidal's character. They are all very good actresses.

I was surprised at how slutty Nancy's character was written and some of the comments that were made by/toward her character but I guess that makes it all that much more realistic since they are supposed to be cops in a big city.

Really, Really, Good. Somehow I'm going to have to decide between X-Files and the Division. Did Lisa Vidal remind anyone else of Michele Michael (not sure I got that right) from ER and Homicide. I thought that the whole time I was watching it. Liked the second episode better than the first and enjoyed Nancy's character. Hopefully it will only get better and better!!!

It wasnt great, but it was good. I agree with whomever said there where too many characters thrown at us.

------------------
Stanley Roper: I'm sorry Jack

Jack Tripper: Oh, thats ok, what did you do?

Roper: Me? Nothing, I just thought I saw something that wasnt normal, because it was normal, but, now I can see it aint normal, so, everything's back to normal again.

Jack: oh, well, I'm glad for you.

Thumbs up

I really really enjoyed the show! I thought the conversations they had in the bars were pretty funny...They all had real good chemistry together! I am glad I taped both episodes! I can't wait until next Sunday

Jo:"Here's to those who wish me well all the rest can go to...Jersey!"

Jo: "You Promise? You Swear? I don't believe you!"

Yea, a board hound! I thought they were pretty good and yea, this is the Jo that if she hadn't gone to Eastland, she'd be like that. I think this series is going to go on for a long time now... nine years, just like FOL, anyone??

Well, my thoughts... The Seargent or whatever the rank of the lead girl, I could do without her. She's boring, unattractive, and frankly, a step backwards for what I feel a professional woman in power should be. I see her as FF material when I tape the show in the future. But now onto the really important topic of the show, HAIR:

1. The hispanic cop (I don't remember the name or the actress) had beautiful hair. I just wanted to touch it!!!
2. The blonde girl, I actually wore my hair *exactly* like that for about a year. And if I do say so myself, it looked better on me!!! I've waited my whole life to find a star who doesn't look as good in my style as I do, and I finally did. Woohoo!!!
3. I liked Jinny alot. Did anyone else notice that some time had passed between the pilot and the first episode (I guess that is normal), because Nancy's hair was way longer in the second ep?

Anyhow, overall, I really enjoyed the show, I loved Jinny's character, but I hope they play it out responsibly. I've had too many brushes with alcoholism in my life between family and friends, and it upsets me when tv plays down the addiction like its something that you go to detox for a couple of weeks and then you're clean, almost glamorizing it. I'm hoping they evolve the story a little more and show all the signs of alcoholism...

And here I thought 'senior member' was poking fun at my age, lol!

I agree with Coily regarding the alcohol and sex with the Jenny character. If she's got a problem let's see it played out and not have her miraculously cured by episode #10. I also noticed that Nancy's hair was noticably longer in the second episode although I'm not sure which length I like better. I also really liked the hair of both the Lisa Vidal and Lela Rochon characters. I'm not going to be as hard on the Bonnie Bedelia captain character as Coily but I will say I could've done without that last scene of her in bed with that younger man.
