Corner Gas , here in Canada...the first week it got 1 million viewers...which is a lot for a country of 30 million

Most people probably forgot Who Wants To Be A Millionaire paved the way for other reality shows.

no, it wasn't. In fact; it was so low in the ratings that first season; CBS was going to cancel it. But then people started watching it in reruns that summer and it became a big hit.
