Does anyone remember "Mute" - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I don't recall this girl's name. She disappeared in 1974 when she was 17 years old. At first, it was believed she ran away but her mother didn't believe it. She posted missing posters all over their area, and one lady at a small grocery store said she had seen her, that she came in sometimes and always bought the vegetarian soup. Her mom knew that was her. It became apparent the girl had been abducted by Hell's Angels or another biker gang. Her mom went undercover in the biker scene, and found out the bikers called her "Mute" because she never spoke. There were sighting of her all over the US but was she ever found?

Amy Billig--search the forum and you will find oodles of info on her. She is belived to be dead, but has not been found. I biker made a deathbed confession that she was thrown to the alligators in the Florida swamps after she was murdered.

The first two words that came to mind was oodles and plethora. But I was unsure how to spell plethora so I opted for oodles. I'm a nerd, I won't lie

It always made me laugh that all those years later over here a rough biker would just happen to approach a quaint little old pensioner in a post office and offer a slave to him in a little coastal town, if that story was true.
