Hey, everyone!
I'm back! ![]() I was wondering if anyone can help me input ideas on themed birthdays. I was thinking about having an all-out themed birthday party like "60s" or "80s" or something, but then that means I have to spend a lot of money on decorations. I don't want to do that. Then, I thought about a themed color party where everyone wears a certain color or a combination of colors. I'm stuck in a corner! Any ideas that don't take a lot of money for me and for the attendees. Any help would be grateful! |

Island/Hawaiian theme might be fun. Grass skirts can't be too expensive.
Black and White party would be easy I would think. |

academy awards party! my 18th birthday party was this theme. you can spend a lot, or a little. either way, your guests will have fuuun. tell them to dress up, show academy award winning movies, maybe give out favors based on the movie. and you can always make it a potluck as well (tell guests to bring something small and you can handle the main dish). good luck!

Thanks for the suggestions! Anymore? I'm surprised I haven't received more responses. I was sure there would've been more input on themes.

More details about this ![]() It will be a big party with about 70-80 people at a rented club. I'm inviting family, friends, and co-workers. Some family members and friends will bring their children along. They range from ages infant to about 17. However, most will be adults. Aw, thank you for your greeting, Mikado. You're the first to notice.

Well, I finally decided on a theme. It's going to be a Swedish theme (Tara's idea was highly intriguing) with all yellow/blue colors. I am also going to try and cook one or two Swedish dishes (and desserts) to show off. So, that should be interesting! Thanks to all who helped input ideas! I appreciate it.
