Default what seasons are the best?

I admit I am very late to the party, but I've started getting hooked on the late night Jeffersons reruns and plan to get the DVD's, what seasons are generally viewed as the best? I have seen the show off and on in the past, but I never really got into it until recently, and the funny thing is, I've mostly only seen the lesser "twilight" seasons (TV Land was on season 9 when I started watching at night, now they're on 11) and I enjoy those, so I know I'm in for a real treat when I get to see the rest. I know season 6 seems to have a really good reputation, what are some of the other seasons that are among the best? If I enjoy seasons 9, 10 and 11 I know I will love the earlier years and can't wait to get the rest.

The 1970s episodes Are The Best(Sason 1-6) anyway My Favorite Seasons Are Season 2,1 And Season 3 With Season 4 Just Behind,Most People Will Agree That The First 6-7 Years Ae The Best.

It depends on what you like better about the show. I preferred the first 4 seasons the best, but seasons 5-7 were really close behind. It's weird too, because once the show jumped to number 3 in the ratings, the quality was getting worse.

Anyways, in those seasons, George and Louise definitely fight a lot more, and George is a lot meaner. If you like that, get those seasons. If you like Florence, get seasons 3-6 on DVD, because that's when Florence starts showing up a lot. By the last 3 seasons, George and Tom became friends, which I hated.

I can't ever remember not liking the show or liking it less, so I'd have to say all of them.

Seasons 1 and 2 will always be seperate from all the other seasons. It was only in those two seasons where you see george doing the things below

Dancing
Yelling
Fighting
Singing

Year 1 is the best. The quality holds up fairly well through season 7. As is mentioned above it was getting worse when it peaked in the ratings. But even when it was so-so it was still fairly decent because of the actors. Even the guest actors brought it in the later seasons- people like Catherine Wilhoite, Peggy McCay, Susan Rattan, Ebony Smith, Barbara McNair, the woman who played Mrs. Van Morris were all well cast. Whoever cast this show knew what they were doing. Perhaps because this show had a theatrical quality they knew to get people who could act in a theater setting.
