The firm's attorney and Vickie's longtime best friend, Stephanie Greene (Khandi Alexander) is a hardworking, admirable single mom of one daughter and who is perfectly happy being single and not with a man in her life. And lastly, the firm's receptionist and office manager, Kerrie Chandler (Aubrey Dollar) is a recent college graduate who has a Master's degree in Communications, but is currently satisfied with working beneath her full potential. Default Episodes

Episodes

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
Vickie is putting together a huge celebratory fifth year anniversary of Million Dollar Manhattan for the firm and her girlfriends. Which proves to be more work than she had planned on, especially when the caterer backs out last minute and scrambles around making dishes. But just as she is about to burn out, the ladies come to her rescue and turn it into a potluck each bring a dish to pass. Meanwhile, Sandra turns to Stephanie for advice about how to deal with her teenage son who is rebelling more and more lately. Elsewhere, Katherine begins to doubt her new marriage but fears coming to terms with taking the next step in that problem (marriage counseling or divorce, or even worse, confronting Ryan).

Ep2: Shut Up And Move On:
Nancy, Stephanie, and Miranda take Maggie out on a girls' night out, full blown with cocktails and a karaoke bar. Meanwhile, Kerrie battles a cold, but tries her best to hide her "feeling under the weather" from Vickie (who is notorious about sending sick employees home to get better) since Kerrie loves her job and needs the money, but ends up coming home to Jake who pampers her dearly like a prince which makes Kerrie feel happy. Elsewhere, Sandra and Bob learn their 16-year-old son, Jason was suspended from school for fighting with his (former) best friend, and must come to terms with his punishment and discovering what caused Jason and his friend to fight.

Ep3: Gentleman's Club:
A sneaky Katherine takes a secretive part-time job as a cocktail waitress at a high-profile Gentleman's Club, and bumps into a familiar face who she fears will blow her secret--Maggie's ex-husband, Carlos. Much to Katherine's surprise, Carlos promises to keep it a secret and allows Katherine to confide her insecurities about her marriage with him, thus creating an unlikely bond between the two. Meanwhile, Nancy unethically accepts a date from a rich male client, John Baxter (Jon Hamm) who has always had a thing for her but has been doing business with MDM since they started. Nancy then finds herself caught in a bind when Vickie and Stephanie bust her out with John, which could lead to bad business. Elsewhere, Kerrie and Miranda brainstorm ways of selling a novel written by a rookie novelist (Topher Grace) who Sandra has a great deal of faith in. But things get messy when Miranda bluntly tells Sandra she can not help sell a book that she feels is destined to fail (based on the content and inexperience of the author).

Ep4: Bad For Publicity:
Nancy and John's dating has made Page Six news, which riles Vickie enough to kindly ask Nancy take a leave of absence for a few weeks until things blow over. Especially after John's wife, Sharon (Connie Britton) surfaces and causes John a great deal of agony and wants him to severe all ties with Nancy and the entire MDM firm. Nancy takes it personally and reluctantly accepts the offer, which becomes a huge topic of conversation around the office. Meanwhile, Sandra turns to Kerrie for advice to become "sexier" for Bob, who has seem to have lost interest in her sexually lately. Elsewhere, Carlos and Katherine's friendship blossoms and roles are reversed when Carlos confides in her about his failed marriage to Maggie.

Ep5: Picking Sides?:
The firm becomes feeling divided when the ladies feel torn and forced to choose sides between the battle of Nancy and Vickie. Stephanie stands by Vickie's decision fullheartedly, as Miranda and Katherine stand by Nancy's side, as Sandra, Maggie, and Kerrie are caught in the middle and remain neutral. Meanwhile, Nancy learns Vickie has decided to extend her leave of absence another two weeks, due to the comotion at the office thanks to Miranda and Katherine's insistance of wanting Nancy back immediately, and John withdrawing his account and ties with MDM. Which leads Nancy devastated and upset by Vickie's harshness. Elsewhere, Maggie oversees Carlos's business card in Katherine's desk drawer on accident while borrowing her stapler, which arises curiousity in Maggie.
