Have you ever noticed, that Cliff and Clair kissed each other on the mouth only in the first and second season? In the other seasons they do only cheek-kissing - even when they play a very romantic scene!
Why that?
Has anyone an idea?

They Kisseed On The Mouth In Season 3 And Season 4.
They Hardly Kissed In Season 6-8

They were much more romantic in the earlier seasons. By season 6, the main focus on the show became the kids (mainly Denise and her marriage in seasons 6 and 7) and Cliff and Clair did a lot more bickering than making up.

This Is Just My Opinion But By Season 6 I Think Cliff And Claire Were Like Any Other Tv Couple That Have Been Married For Nearly 30 Years.

sure? do you remember the episode? I diskussed it with some friends and we started watching all the dvds and found NO kiss!
In the reunion Phylicia rashad said, they were the most romantic couple in history of television - but I think roseanne88-97 is right: cliff and clair often argued!

But it was always Claire's fault. Cliff would make the simplest mistakes, and Claire would start going off on him.

But yes, on these TV shows, real making out is reserved for young couples.

Just saw an episode of season 4 on youtube: clair's 46th birthday. She decided not to eat dessert, but cliffs comes initially with one cake, then another and at least he had three big cakes and they eat them with big spoons. Very funny scene! And finally they kiss - so romantic
