A new Beginning - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Jo Polniaczek*Rick Bonner since has left* walked into the Shelter in which she ran, although it was still run by Blair Warner. It was nice because Blair and Jo still could see each other periodically. A lot had happened since Jo and Rick had split up, Jo had adopted Kacey McCrann whos parents just left her at the shelter at age 7. She was know 15 and easily could be mistaken for a 15 year old version of Jo herself.

Jo had been gone the past day on a confrence call in Amherst, so she left the shelter to her close assistant, Andy Moffet. Jo looked and saw that there was message on her machine and she half expected what she was next about to hear.

"Ms. Polniaczek, this is Ms. Ringwald, princapal of Kacey's high school and even with the school year shortly underway she has already had 4 unexcused absentes. Please call back to confirm a meeting with the vice princapal and my self, Thank you."

Jo shook her head in disappointment, Kacey was to much like Jo when she was in the Bronx and Jo knew something had to be done. She figured that she would find Kacey hanging out with some of her friends at the local drug store. Jo walked down to the drug store and so be it there was Kacey with her current guy Jesse, he whom had a bad influence on her.

Kacey was laughing with Jesse when she felt a tap on her shoulders and turned to see a pissed Jo. "uHh..Jo hey your back early...umm we, i mean u see we had an early release day..yep, Im not doing anything wrong..." This was Kacey could manage to get out, she hardly ever got caught. Jo looked at her sternly and said,"Lets go, Jesse she will see you maybe in a few years if shes lucky-" and Jo held out her hand moitioning for Kacey to take out the stuff she had attempted to pocket, but nothing got past Jo's eye.

As Jo tried to push Kacey out the door Kacey yelled or at least attempted to shout at Jesse,"Ill talk to you later sweets!!" Jo looked at her if she had gone crazy and said,"Ooo I do not think so, come on we are going home for a "chat", I have a few words with you."

Kacey gulped because she knew she was going to be in trouble and as she and Jo finally arrived at the shelter, when Jo shut the door tightly of her office, thats when Kacey started to sweat. Jo looked at her and furious as she was she could not have screamed any louder,"Kacey where the hell do you think you get off?! How stupid can you really be to be running with Jesse and people of his type?! You are better then that I have warned you before, but actions have to be taken-serious actions..." Then Jo picked up the phone and dialed Blair...

Blair responded,"Hello, Eastland School, Headmistress Blair Warner speaking how may I help you.."

well not interesting yet but im bored and its a start i guess

heres a little more cuz for once i do not have shi%loads of hw!!

"Blair hey it Jo, I was wondering if I could call in a favor to ask..."

"O hey Jo, wow you asking for a favor-there is something you do not hear every day-wait no i lied every YEAR!" Blair responded laughing at her own jokes

"Listen Warner, its not for me, you see Kacey is getting into some trouble and I was wondering if its too late for an entrance exam.."

"Jo just cuz you have helped me over the years, and i have always wanted to do something for you, but come down to the school now and I will give it you and Kacey can take it"

"Blair I cant thank you enough..we will be right down"

Kacey was confused because she was not sure exactly what was going on but for some reason she knew it was something that would change the rest of her life. Jo looked at Kacey and said,"Do not just stand there get in the car, we are going to go to eastland."

The car ride there was mostly silent because Jo was not allowing Kacey to touch the radio(dont u hate when grown ups do that?). Jo was thinking to herself what if Kacey does not pass the test, then what happens..she has to pass!! Kacey looked out the window and thought to herself "why the hell am i here*they had just arrived at eastland*"

Jo looked at the motionless Kacey and told her to get out. They met Blair at her office where they had a little small talk for a couple minuets and then Blair told Kacey what was going on. As Blair told Kacey you could see all the color drain from her face.

"And if you could follow me we could go to an empty classroom and please try your hardest.." Blair finished saying and as she walked out Jo pulled out an old trick and said, "Please do not disappoint me..."

Kacey followed Blair and took the test for what seemed like was an enternity. Kacey thought she did well on the test because she was very smart but lately she was not caring much for her brain. After the test Blair took Kacey back to Jo who was in the teachers lounge and all three of them went down to the cafeitera.

After they ate lunch they said good bye and Jo and Kacey went back to the shelter. The next couple of days seem to go bye very slow until Kacey got something in the mail. Jo saw the package before Kacey could hide it and opened it and read out loud the beginning part,

"Dear Ms. Polniaczek, we are pleased to inform you that Kacey passed the entrance examine and we would like to schedual a meeting to get everything situated." Sincerely, Blair Warner, Headmistress

heres a little more...

Jo's face had lite up instantly when she had read the letter, but at the same time, Kacey's dropped. She did not want to go to Eastland with all the rich preps and Bailey- eww gag her with a spoon, Bailey Warner, the modern day, teenage version on Blair Warner.

Jo saw Kacey's disappoint and said,"Come on- you will have a great time, I loved it there, it just has a lot of getting use to but u will see." Kacey just ran to her room and slammed the door, unable to find the right words to say.

Jo picked up the phone and called Blair. "Hey Blair, its me, I was think that I could take Kacey down to the school and we can give her the tour and she can get "settled in"..."

Blair responded, "Oh, why hello Jo, yes if you could bring her down at 12:00 clock tomorrow that would be great, well assemblies call, I have to go, by cya tomorrow."

Jo felt a little bad and wanted to talk things over with Kacey a little bit. So she went to her room and knocked on the door, yet there was no response. Jo kept knocking and yelling at the door until it got to the point where she barged into the room to find the window open and no Kacey in sight. Jo was furious and she ran out grabbed the keys to her car and speed out of the drive way of the shelter. Jo was confused on were to look but she decided to take a chance on the Chug-a-lug. Numerous times she had caught Kacey in here and she figured it would not be any different.

Kacey was in the back booth trying to figure out what should happen next when Jo's shadow appeared. Kacey was startled and said,"I was not drinking honest..i jus needed to think..." Jo looked at Kacey and said,"Think, think? now theres a novel idea..come on we are going home and tomorrow you are going to eastland whether you want to or not!"

ok heres some more, sorry i havent posted for ever!!! im sick today so perfect oppertunity!

The ride home was very quiet until Jo broke the silence and said,"Listen Kacey I am sorry about earlier--" but before Jo finished Kacey's face brightened and said, "Does this mean I have to go to Eastland?!"
Jo looked at her and finished,"Although I said I was sorry does not mean you are off the hook and you are still going to Eastland."
With that Kacey's face once more dropped with disappointment. When they finally arrived at the shelter there was no exchanged of words between Jo and Kacey, Kacey jus ran to her room and slammed the door. Andy stared at Jo and said,"Things not go over so hot?"
Jo looked at Andy and just shook her head, meaning nope.

The night for Kacey went by too quickly and it was filled with tears, packing, tears, good-byes, and a couple more tears. At 6:00 the blearing sounds of Kacey's alarm went off and she mumbled a few cuss words. Jo came into Kaceys room and said, "Once you are doing packing I will take you out to breakfast."
Kacey under her breath said thanks and groogly got out of bed.

A few hours later Kacey had arrived at Eastland with Jo. Kacey felt so scared for the second time in her life. Everyone just stared at her like she was from a totally different world. Jo reassured her that everything would be okay yet, that did not make Kacey feel any better.

When Kacey and Jo arrived at Blair's office they were both in for a big suprised. When they walked in their was Tootie with her daughter Tisha, Natalie with her daughter Meagan and Blair had her younger sister Bailey there, who was Kacey's age. Kacey and Jo did not have really the slightest clue what was going on. Jo just continued to stare dumbfoundingly when Natalie said,"Now thats the talkitive Jo we all know and love."
Jo was still stumped when she finally managed to get,"what are you all doing here?"
Blair looked at everyone and said,"I think I can answer that one, when Jo came to me about enrolling Kacey, I made a few phone calls-" yet was cutoff by Dorthey,"and we said Eastland here we come!"

Bailey, Kacey, Tisha, and Meagan were so clueless as Natalie, Blair, Tootie, and Jo all embraced. About 15 minuets later when Blair said let me show you all to your rooms. Kacey and Bailey roomed together and same with Tisha and Meagan. After all the former Eastland students left their either their daughters(sisters or guardian of) Kacey turned to Bailey and asked, "So what do you do for fun here?"
Bailey looked her and said,"Well...down in dorm B there are some senior guys.."
she needed not say anymore when Kacey said,"Great you get them here after dark and I will provide the "refreshments"."

The ride home was very quiet until Jo broke the silence and said,"Listen Kacey I am sorry about earlier--" but before Jo finished Kacey's face brightened and said, "Does this mean I have to go to Eastland?!" Jo looked at her and finished,"Although I said I was sorry does not mean you are off the hook and you are still going to Eastland." With that Kacey's face once more dropped with disappointment. When they finally arrived at the shelter there was no exchanged of words between Jo and Kacey, Kacey jus ran to her room and slammed the door. Andy stared at Jo and said,"Things not go over so hot?" Jo looked at Andy and just shook her head, meaning nope. The night for Kacey went by too quickly and it was filled with tears, packing, tears, good-byes, and a couple more tears. At 6:00 the blearing sounds of Kacey's alarm went off and she mumbled a few cuss words. Jo came into Kaceys room and said, "Once you are doing packing I will take you out to breakfast." Kacey under her breath said thanks and groogly got out of bed. A few hours later Kacey had arrived at Eastland with Jo. Kacey felt so scared for the second time in her life. Everyone just stared at her like she was from a totally different world. Jo reassured her that everything would be okay yet, that did not make Kacey feel any better. When Kacey and Jo arrived at Blair's office they were both in for a big suprised. When they walked in their was Tootie with her daughter Tisha, Natalie with her daughter Meagan and Blair had her younger sister Bailey there, who was Kacey's age. Kacey and Jo did not have really the slightest clue what was going on. Jo just continued to stare dumbfoundingly when Natalie said,"Now thats the talkitive Jo we all know and love." Jo was still stumped when she finally managed to get,"what are you all doing here?" Blair looked at everyone and said,"I think I can answer that one, when Jo came to me about enrolling Kacey, I made a few phone calls-" yet was cutoff by Dorthey,"and we said Eastland here we come!" Bailey, Kacey, Tisha, and Meagan were so clueless as Natalie, Blair, Tootie, and Jo all embraced. About 15 minuets later when Blair said let me show you all to your rooms. Kacey and Bailey roomed together and same with Tisha and Meagan. After all the former Eastland students left their either their daughters(sisters or guardian of) Kacey turned to Bailey and asked, "So what do you do for fun here?" Bailey looked her and said,"Well...down in dorm B there are some senior guys.." she needed not say anymore when Kacey said,"Great you get them here after dark and I will provide the "refreshments"." ------------------ -Queen Keightee Nancy McKeon of the T-Shirts, Tony Sopranos, Big Toes, Pencils, Paper plates, and Chocolate Eclairs. 5 Queens, 1 Goddess and a message board.
