I was curious as to the distances from Port Washington and other cities and towns. Here are some of them(these are estimations):
Milwaukee, WI- 27 miles(35 minutes) Kenosha, WI- 64 miles(1 hr 20 min) Wisconsin/Illinois border- 66 miles (1 hr 35 min) Green Bay, WI- 91 miles(1 hr 35 min) Madison, WI- 103 miles(2 hours) Chicago, IL- 116 miles(2 hr 10 min) 1)Excluding Milwaukee, the nearest "decent sized" city(apparently Green Bay) is still a good hour and a half away 2)In Port Washington, you probably have a good amount of Bears fans since the distance from Port Washington to Green Bay and Chicago is not that different, with Chicago being an extra 35-40 minutes away. 3)Kenosha is pretty much on the Wisconsin/Illinois border. The drive from Kenosha to the border is about 10-15 minutes and it's less than an hour to Chicago. If anyone lives in Port Washington or any surrounding town, please share your thoughts. |
