1.Do you think Nate stayed with Blair because he knew that he couldn't be with Serena?

2.Do you think Blair slept with Chuck because Nate slept with her best friend and get even for breaking her heart by sleeping with his best friend?

1. I think that's part of it. I think he is also going along with what is expected of him.

2. It's possible, but I don't think that she thought it out that much. I think it was more a reaction to being hurt or it may have been an insecure reaction. Maybe she felt that if Nate didn't think she was good enough, she might as well go with Chuck. It was a pretty self-destructive act, which makes it seem like she like she was just feeling like she wasn't worth very much.
