Things you would like to change about yourself - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have quite a few:

-I'd like to gain a few pounds
-Stop eating Chinese food on a regular basis
-Less facial hair(shaving twice a day is annoying)
-I wish I wasn't so sensitive

I am much happier with the person that I am today than the person that I was a year ago. In April of this year I began attending church again and have also been trying to lead a more Christian life. As a result I have not only become a better person, but a happier one. I also have much higher self-esteem than I did last year at this time. I have a long way to go before I am the person that I wish to be, but I'm heading in the right direction.

My anxiety/shyness
My lack of ability to hold a conversation
My lack of motivation to do anything
The pudge around my stomach
My lack of confidence
I wish I were a little bit smarter
I wish I knew what I wanted to do with my life
My lack of a boyfriend
I wish I weren't so fond of sitting on my ass rather than doing things with people
I wish I didn't hate my life the majority of the time

well i need to stop eating as much as i do lol.

other then that, i need to stop caring about what people think of me so much, really. i care way too much about that and always think that people find me annoying or dont like me.

id like to get a litttle more outgoing too, but in the past 3-4 months i've actually gotten a lot better at that.

I have issues with how much I hate myself sometimes. I wish I had more self-esteem, was less of a perfectionist, and was way less sensitive. Among 700 other things I dislike.

I used to be that way too, but with age it's all gotten a whole lot better. In fact, a lot of things mentioned here have gotten a whole lot better with age. Some of it did change for me, and some of it just became things I came to accept in myself, not on purpose or anything but more like they just didn't matter as much as they used to. Even with my weight (like Oprah! lol) I know where the line is and I'm just not one of those people who will ever be rail-thin. So it's ok.
I do wish I could motivate myself to clean my house more and do some of the other things I don't like to do.
