Does anyone know the latest on this case?

A lady named "Carol" who took a short cut on her way to work, which was not her typical route. She then gets followed by a black truck, and she speed up, and they speed up, and then she tries to get out of the drivers way and he rams her car and then she slams on the brakes and gets the car to stop. He shoots her in the head and drives off! Does anyone know if they caught this creep?

No, tragically this case remains unsolved. This kind of senseless violence just makes me sick

To my knowledge no one has ever been caught. I remembered Justin posting some articles he found on Newsbank about her case and I dug them up:
