Is anyone buying the 'complete series' set? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Is anyone out there buying the 'complete series' set that was released today? I already have all three seasons, so I won't - however, I wish I had held out and gotten this, it's a much better deal in the long run.

I don't know, I guess if I see it maybe just for the heck of it I will get it. But I am not going to go out of my way for it.

If there are any extras that weren't in the individual seasons releases I might get it--------but I'm betting the only thing new is the box

My guess would be that the only new thing would be the outer box, but does anyone know for sure????

BTW-----I haven't seen the Complete Series set in any of the stores I've been in lately. Has anyone else spotted it????

Are the discs double-sided or single sided in this new set ? If they are single-sided I may buy it, because I have some episodes that freeze up in my individual sets.

The seasons sets themselves are IDENTICAL to those that have been released. They have just been out together in a new outer box. Take them out of the box and they are the same.

Yeah, I haven't seen it yet either.
And I was in FYE yesterday looking for it, just to see it for myself.

What's the point? For me, it's not a better deal. Every time one of my discs is cracked too much in the center I have to buy a new individual season. I have multiple copies of all the episodes at this point--I'll pass on the new box.
