Default Steve, the former security guard on The Jerry Springer Show, is a JOKE

and his show is a BIGGER JOKE. Mainly because he wants to play the tough guy role on very single episode. Isn't he supposed to be a host of his own show now? So why is he playing this -"i will kick your your a$$" role on very episode? It's real easy to be TOUGH on TV Mr. Steve Wilkos

Whenever I'm home during the day, and am just randomly flipping through the stations, I come across his show...and have sadly left it on several times (out of curiosity). It's horrible. HE'S horrible. I actually find myself laughing when he's having his fits. It's hilarious. I'm surprised none of the guests laughed in his face yet. It would be more fitting if he were to go on the Maury show as one of those boot camp instructors, rather than having his own show. It seems like he's trying to be the male Judge Judy of daytime talk shows, and it is NOT working!

I thought this would have a bit of promise when I first heard the idea. And after seeing bits and pieces, I pretty much share the same feelings as above. What a disappointment. We've already seen talk shows with boot camp instructors, or some other kind of "manly man" intimidating people. IMHO we don't need another one.

Dr. Phil is all the "manly man" we need on daytime television!

I wanted to like this show so much, but it sucks. Plain and simple. Sucks.

Every episode (literally) has either a pedophile father or drug-addicted (or prostitute) mother, and the bulk of the episode is Steve screaming the person's face. Instead of doing the productive thing and trying to get help for these tormented souls and the children they've hurt, all Steve wants to do is hold them up in front of the audience and throw insults at them.

Anybody see his new "trademark" or refusing to let the "villains" sit down? The audience eats it up. I just think he's a stickhead.

I can barely watch his show. His schtik worked well on Springer's show, but a whole hour of Steve is just too much.

Jerry's show use to be great when it was completely unscripted. When they brought in fight choreographers and scripted fights, the show went downhill.

I totally agree, 100%. Springer is definitely not widely considered appropriate family viewing, but in the 1990s, from about 1994 to 1999, every single weekday afternoon at 4pm, my mother, my brother, me, my cousin, and her daughter would crowd in front of the TV and watch it. It was one of the top must-see shows of that era, I swear, but now it's just a complete and total joke. They go for shock value now, nothing more.

I remember his early, quiet shows, mainly about the obese people who couldn't leave their houses. He actually had a good show for awhile - sort of like Donahue in his heyday. What happened??

shows such as jerry springer are just an excuse for people to air their dirty laundry in public and to talk about their private lives in front of others when they should be discussing it amongst themselves in private. the show is A joke and lets face it, the majority of people that are guests on the show- not all of them that is- are only on there to stir up trouble and getting into fights. and as for the crowd the fact they are endorsing the violence by whooping and yelling goes to show they mostly watch it for the fights and people arguing and shouting. sad really
