1- "Pilot."- JT elopes with his secretive longtime girlfriend Lisa, who also happens to be a friend of Dana's. This connection between the two girls is why the relationship and marriage were secret--- until confidante Al finally blows JT's cover. This leads to a food fight that parallels the events that happened in the pilot of the original STEP BY STEP series. Realizing that Lisa and JT are really happy together, she, along with the rest of the family, come to accept the bond and celebrate together as one big, happy family.

2- "Revenge of the Dorks (1)."- Mark retaliates against a loudmouth ladies man on campus--- and is expelled.

3- "Revenge of the Dorks (2)."- Frank must come to stepson Mark's rescue to prove that Mark was acting in self-defense against the six-foot-tall bully.

4- "Ladies' Night."- Dana, Al, and Karen have too much to drink at a friend's bachelorette party. Rich is not pleased when Dana finally gets home.

5- "A Semidecent Proposal."- Rich proposes to Dana after being tempted by another voluptuous blonde. When Dana finds out Rich's reason for proposing, she asks him his reasoning of why he would propose based solely on temptation. He answers that he was genuinely scared at the prospect of losing sight of who's really important to him.

6- "The Real Deal."- Rich pops the question once more with a clear head and a heart full of love. Dana accepts, and all are happy, except one: Carol. Carol describes to Dana how fast her kids and stepkids are growing up in her eyes, and how on one hand she's happy, but on the other she can't stand the thought of "losing her babies." When Dana explains that she'll always be Carol's "little girl", Carol finally gives Dana her blessing, and the wedding plans start to flourish.
