Default Favorite Comic Strips

What are your favorite newspaper comics of all time (they can be either
funny or serious and past or present)? Mine include:

B.C. (1958-present)
Barney Google & Snuffy Smith (1919-present)
Beetle Bailey (1950-present)
Blondie (1930-present)
The Born Loser (1965-present)
Brenda Starr (1940-present)
Bringing Up Father (a.k.a. Maggie & Jiggs; 1913-present)
Calvin & Hobbes (1985-1995)
Curtis (1988-present)
Dennis the Menace (1951-present)
Dick Tracy (1931-present)
Family Circus (1960-present)
Ferd'nand (1947-present)
Fox Trot (1988-present)
Frank & Ernest (1972-present)
Freckles & His Friends (1915-1973)
Garfield (1978-present)
Gasoline Alley (1918-present)
Grin and Bear It (1932-present)
Hagar the Horrible (1973-present)
Hi and Lois (1954-present)
Joe Palooka (1930-1984)
Li'l Abner (1934-1977)
The Lockhorns (1968-present)
Marmaduke (1954-present)
Mother Goose & Grimm (1984-present)
Mutt & Jeff (1907-1983)
Nancy (1938-present)
Peanuts (1950-2000)
Pogo (1948-1975, 1989-1993)
Prince Valiant (1937-present)
Rose Is Rose (1984-present)
Shoe (1977-present)
Short Ribs (1958-1982)
Smilin' Jack (1933-1973)
Smitty (1922-1974)
Smokey Stover (1935-1973)
Steve Canyon (1947-1988)
Tank McNamara (1974-present)
Terry and the Pirates (1934-1973)
They'll Do It Every Time (1929-present)
Thimble Theatre (starring Popeye; 1919-present)
Tumbleweeds (1965-present)
Wizard of Id (1964-present)
Ziggy (1971-present)

I used to like Cathy, Dilbert, Doonesbury, and For Better or For Worse. But
none of them, to me, are as funny as they used to be. What struck me
in compiling this list is that some of these strips have been around for
many, many DECADES; whereas a television show is lucky if it lasts maybe
two or three seasons.

Talking I Have Two Faves

I have two favorites that I read everyday: "Garfield" & "Zits".
I used to read more than that a long time ago but, now it's only those two.

Brevity
Diesel Sweeties
F Minus
The Meaning of Lila
Off the Mark
Pearls Before Swine
Pickles
Bizarro (which unfortunately isn't at comics.com)

I used to read the comic section in the paper every Sunday, until they got rid of some of my favorites. I liked Peanuts, Nancy, and Ziggy.
