Default If "I Love Lucy" Had a Very Special Episode...

If back in the 1950s, sitcoms had "A Very Special Episode" what do you think some of Lucy's would have been?

We can have fun with this, lol.

Lucy and Ricky get caught with their beds pushed together?
Lucy made a fateful decision and left the house in blue jeans and a t-shirt?

I thought the Ricardos helping the Mertzes with redecorating their apt. was a "very special episode."

in "building a barbeque"

lucy: Aww, thanks ethel its times like these you know what real friends are for."
Ethel: "if i had know this is what friends were for i would have signed up as an enemy!" lol

In the same episode after ricky found the barbeque had been taken apart and put back together

Ethel: Maybe a huricane came through and did this
Lucy: Yeah, thats it.
Ricky: Conneticut doesnt have huricanes.
Lucy: YEA THATS NOT IT
Lucy: Maybe it was a tornado
Ricky: Conneticut doesn't have tornados either
Lucy: BOY THIS IS A DULL STATE!

Also, I always felt the Cousin Ernie episode, especially the scene where Lucy reads that letter to Ricky that almost makes them teary-eyed, was a "special episode."

The episode in Hollywood where they are at the nightclub and Lucy is pissed as hell at Ricky. We later see Ricky sing that romantic song and they dance the night away. *sniff* One of my fave scenes on ILL.

I'd have to say "Lucy Is Enciente" is the most special ep. Then "Sentimental Anniversary" for sure. You can see the Arnaz marriage reflected in both eps. The waiting for a baby. The sqaubbles and suspicion of his cheating.
