Don't ya just love those Halloween Epis. They were always so awesome. Love the first one with the "tunnel of terror". Also like the "Marie Antoinette" costume episode.

What I want is the skill to make those fabulous pumpkins that were shown on those episodes. I remember the person who made those for the show appeared on some talk show a long time ago but I forgot who that person was.
Roseanne's Halloween episodes are classics. I was eager every season to see what the Halloween episode would be abt. I loved the one where they scared neighbor, Kathy Bowman. And Roseanne kept thinking she was going to seek revenge on her.Did you ever notice that in the Halloween episodes, Arnie always dressed up as Elvis' ghost?

I also liked when they did gross bodily things like when Dan got his hand caught in the garbage disposal, Darlene chopped her fingers off, Roseanne disembowled Dan, Darlene had an alien pop out of her abdomen, Roseanne got electrocuted in the toaster and Dan had an accident in the garage and his hand spurted blood in the kitchen.
The costumes were fun too. That Marie Antoinette costume was outrageous! DJ as Alfalfa and Hannibal Lector, Becky was half-glamorous and half-hideous, Darlene had arrows sticking out of her, Deadger Bergen and Mortuary Snerd, Roseanne as Prince and the Statue of Liberty. What other costumes do you remeber? |

They ran 2 of the Halloween episodes on our local CW station yesterday. They were pretty funny, one of the men dressed up as Hillary Clinton. Jackie was dressed up as Robin and Fred was dressed up as Batman. I liked Roseanne as Prince, that was so funny.

Roseanne sure made Halloween fun. It made me want to be creative and have fun like she made it seem on the show.
The costumes were of course professionally made, but one of my faves is the one Darlene wore where she is wearing just regular clothes but she has this monster coming out of her sweatshirt through her stomach supposedly.

I remember when Dan was kinda upset at D.J. being a witch. Dan kept telling him he was a warlock, that was a male witch.
D.J. insisted he was a witch!

Yes, the Halloween episodes were classics. My favorites were always the second season one, "BOO!", and teh season 4 episode "Trick me up, Trick me Down". especially in the first one, where Roseanne got her hair all messed up, held on to the toaster, and was pretending to be electricuted-LOL. Dan walked right past her, then ran back in screaming. Hilarious.
Also, the opening scene of the fourth season episode, where Roseanne was playing the trick on Kathy Bowman, with Dan's body on the table, all in blood, and Roseanne pretended to have killed him-LOL. Roseanne was like "I have to learn not to lose my temper"-LOL |

Have to confess that I really dont like the halloween episodes at all. I think it must be because we dont celebrate it much in the UK. They werent the worst episodes as I think that award goes to the episode on the train with the terrorists
Still my fav show though. Nothing as good on tv at the minute
