Divorced couple Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen have ended their public custody feud after agreeing to put their young daughters into therapy.

The former couple have spent months fighting over custody arrangements for daughters Sam, three, and Lola, two, but have now resolved all matters during a six-hour mediation on October 23.

An insider tells Life & Style magazine that Richards will continue to provide a nanny for her ex's monitored visits with the girls, while Sheen has agreed to allow his former wife to take them to therapy sessions.

The source claims the actress is worried about the impact of the divorce and her mother's ongoing cancer battle on the girls.

The insider tells the publication, "This was a big victory for Denise... She said all she wanted was what's best for the girls. And Charlie was pleased about settling things."
