Default YOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE THING TO WATCH?

When you're either DOWN or want to show off Lucy type things to a new fan, what do you put on? What do you play the most or what have you seen a thousand times that still gets you to laugh out loud? For me, the CBS Salutes Lucy the first 25 years is a real favorite, in her specials i LOVE Mr and Mrs, in the tributes i just love the TV Hall of Fame, in her tv shows i'm more into The Lucy show now as i know every I Love Lucy scene by heart, so a favorite is the Dean Martin one. In her guest appearances, i love her singing with Steve Lawrence on his show, or clowing with Dean Martin on his. I of course LOVE the Password shows with her kids and that last great musical number of hers on that Hope special Comedy ain't no joke still moves me. What about you?

As far as Lucy goes, for me, it was, is and always will be I Love Lucy......her other shows were ok, but, somehow, Lucy without Desi just never measured up to Lucy with Desi.

Oh the color thing for me was seeing Yours Mine and Ours, first time MY Lucy was on a giant screen, in big splashy color and in a riotously funny movie. I saw it 18 times, one whole Saturday alone i saw the 10am 12pm 2pm 4pm 6pm 8pm and 10pm shows and just enjoyed hearing a huge audience laughing at my Lucy. LIVE and in COLOR, LOL!

"The Long, Long Trailer" is a great pick-me-up for me. It is a fun, lighthearted, well-written story and has beautiful color. The scenes in the rainstorm are hilarious. Another good one is when Tacy tries to make dinner for Nicky while he is driving.

My second choice would be "Yours, Mine and Ours," which includes another great drunk scene by Lucy.

Lucy does a tv commercial and Yours, Mine, And Ours the original to forget about that aweful remake.

That's a hard thing to answer because what I watch is so random. If I put something "Lucy" on, it's usually an episode I haven't seen so much of. The real classic episodes that had me in stitches as a kid -- e.g., "Job Switching" and "L.A. at Last!" -- just don't do it for me anymore because I've seen them so many times and every word is firmly etched in my mind. So I usually pick something I haven't watched in awhile. Last night, it was "The Ballet" episode. Although the ending was very implausible (like many of those episodes from the first season) I was laughing myself silly watching Lucy beat up on those dancers. I also got a good laugh out of the classic scene at the ballet barre. Often times I put on a favorite LS or HL for the very reason you mention: I haven't watched those shows to death as I have ILL. The Chuck Connors and "French Movie Star" episodes are among the many that always make me laugh. We all know there are plenty of mediocre episodes of those series, but there are some great ones as well.

If I was going to convert someone I would probably pick Lucy Does a Commercial.

Ooh, I love The Long Long Trailor! I haven't watched that in ages. I also love Mr. And Mrs.

The pregnancy episodes (except 'Lucy becomes a sculptress') I love to watch. All that mushiness is contagious.

It is based on the real-life story of the Beardsley family; a widowed Navy nurse with eight children meets an widower Navy officer with ten children and they fall in love and marry.

You can imagine the fun of watching Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda trying to manage a home with 18 children!
