Default Episodes

Episodes

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
It's Vanessa's birthday. Vanessa plans to take Kerrie, Tamara, Ryan, Mitch, and Kevin out to celebrate at one of the newest, coolest nightclubs in Chicago, "The Ruby Lounge". While out waiting in line, Tamara, Ryan, and Vanessa are constantly being annoyed by some weird guy who bothers them with 20-plus questions, and Kerrie is reunited with her boss's newly-engaged son, Ethan (Rider Strong) whom she begins to feel a mutual attraction with him--even though he is "supposively happily" engaged. Also, potheads Kevin and Mitch become paranoid when they notice the amount of cops and security for the new nightclub.

Ep2: Success Of Older Guys:
Vanessa finds herself being wooed by an older thirtysomething customer, Ben (Dan Cortese). Vanessa, after several failed attempts of regretting his offers, gives in and agrees to go out on a date with Ben. Meanwhile, Tamara receives word from her parents, back in New Dehli, that she is becoming too Americanized for their liking and wants her to come back home. Tamara becomes upset, and with advice from her friends, stands up to her overbearing parents. Elsewhere, Kerrie prepares Ryan for his blind date with a guy who Kerrie (and Vanessa) went to high school with (Jake). Ryan and Jake seem to like polar opposites at first, but end up really hitting it off great, and arrange a second one right away.

Ep3: Who Wants Some Vanilla and Vodka?:
Things go awry, when Kerrie's real estate firm is being slapped with a hefty lawsuit, Kerrie becomes "second fiddle" to a stressed and worried Ethan's fiancee, Rebecca (Danica McKellar) who comes to and supports Ethan through his tough time, while Kerrie secretly sulks in bitter jealousy of Rebecca. Elsewhere, Tamara arranges a double date with her new boyfriend Rick, Vanessa, and a guy she set Vanessa up with. The date doesn't go overly well as Rick and Tamara get into a fight, causing the two to split up temporarily. And also, Vanessa realizes her date is a male chauvinist with a massive ego. At the end of the night, all three girls (Kerrie, Tamara, and Vanessa) end up lounging around their apartment in their pajamas with bottles of booze and pints of ice cream.

Ep4: That Girl:
Jake's mom, Marlene (Marlo Thomas) makes a surprise visit and wants to meet the "new man" in her son's life, which ends up frightening and intimidating Ryan to death. Jake, Ryan, and Marlene go out to dinner (Marlene's treat), and to everyone's surprise, the dinner turns out great and Marlene and Ryan really do get along great. Elsewhere at their "eBay store", Kevin and Mitch get a surprise visit from the kid sister of their "dealer" and "former third amigo", Lena (Ellen Page) who's 19-year-old, kicked out, unemployed, and 2 months pregnant. Lena begs Mitch and Kevin for a job at their eBay store and a place to stay temporarily. Meanwhile, Vanessa runs into Ben again while bartending at "O'Malleys", and agrees to accompany him to a party at his buddy's place after work--resulting in going back to Ben's place afterwards.

Ep5: Bedded By Ben:
After waking up at Ben's apartment, Vanessa begins to feel "cheap and trashy", and matters get worse when Vanessa must face her roommates and take "the walk of shame". Meanwhile, Kerrie confides in Tamara about her feelings for Ethan and jealousy of Rebecca. Elsewhere, Lena begins her first day working with Kevin and Mitch, which turns out to be a great success--yet her morning sickness takes a toll on the guys and their morning routines. Kevin and Mitch contact Lena's brother, Mike (Seth Rogan) and inform him about Lena and what's going on. Mike tries to talk Lena into moving back home and making amends with their parents, which Lena refuses, and Mike trips a trigger in Lena when the topic of Lena terminating a past pregnancy (at age 16) and still being irresponsible years later.

Ep6: Lena Runs Out:
Lena becomes upset about her past conversation with her brother, and after seeming to tick off Mitch and Kevin at both home and work. Lena decides to just leave, Mitch and Kevin realize hour later, Lena ran off and they go look for her (with help from Vanessa, Tamara, Ryan, and Jake). They find her and talk her into coming back with the guys for both work and living at their place. Meanwhile, Kerrie is put in awkward situation when asked to lie for him about Ethan's whereabouts the night previous if Rebecca asks, and learns that Ethan was out with another girl behind his fiancee's back. Instead of causing Kerrie to be ethical and moral, Kerrie decides to use it to her advantage and ends up successfully seducing Ethan while working late one night.

Ep7: Smile! You're On Camera!:
Kerrie and Ethan learn that their after-hours "heat of passion" has been caught on the security cameras, thanks to a helpful yet awkward tip from the security guard, Nic (Randy Quaid)--who helps them steal back the copy of video camera, until they notice it's missing. Things get messy when Ethan and Kerrie are called into Kerrie's boss/Ethan's dad, Frank (Dennis Farina)'s office where he informs them about him knowing about (and having) the videotape. Frank is anything but happy when he finds out about Ethan and Kerrie's "little affair", and ends up giving Ethan an ultimatum: end it with Kerrie or end it with Rebecca. Elsewhere, Vanessa learns that Tamara is still upset with upsetting her parents and decides to cheer her up with help from Ryan and Jake.

Ep8: Three's Company, Four's Trouble:
Lena, Kevin, and Mitch hangout together after work, and end up enjoying the time together (more than expected) until Lena's jealous ex-boyfriend, Steve (Eric Christian Olson) shows up and wants to rekindle things with his pregnant ex. Lena refuses to get back with serial cheater, Steve, which results in an angry and unsober Steve starting a fight with Mitch and Kevin when they step in and defend her. Meanwhile, Kerrie learns Ethan chose Rebecca over her--through a message on her voicemail--which causes her to become devastated and upset.
