According to the guide:
Brent joins Lacey's running club that's training for a 10k. Meanwhile, Oscar is treated differently after getting handicapped plates. |

That one guest stars Jan Arden a Canadian singer-songwriter and Hank decides to finally get a "real" job...crossing guard!
(Lacey and Hank are the stars of this ep)

Hey, Brent didn't join Lacey's running group. That is what the guide information said.
Poor Lacey, she was always lagging behind and she expected to chat with Wanda while running. But Wanda had her music player to listen to. I loved the reference to Wile E. Coyote cartoon. Hank was funny when he was being trained to be a crossing guard. He looked so perplexed when he was being asked, "What do you do if there is no car and there is no child?" Brent using his car to follow the runners during the race. That just looked so ridiculous. And then when Brent said, "My engine light is on." They left Lacey behind. Oscar and his "handicap".

Well, driving alongside WAS Brent's way of joining the club!
I thought it was hilarious that even old man Oscar beat young beauty Lacey to the finish line! (She looks faster than she is, apparently! )

Ok, Oscar and his handicap plates. Like he was told, "This isn't Manhatten."
And when Wanda called him "Gimpy Magoo."

who was Jann Arden in that episode? She had a huge US hit a number of years ago with "Insensitive"

Jan Arden is the chubby lady who runs with the group briefly in the middle of the ep and at the very end, who keeps telling the same boring story over and over. She's been having a problem with weight gain over the last few years. (I know how she feels)
