Default Who do you dislike the most: the second Becky or the second Vivian

both characters became rather dull and somewhat lame when the show decided to replace the original actresses with their lesser counterparts: alicia goranson as becky connor made way for sarah chalke in roseanne, whilst Janet hubert-whitten left the fresh prince in 93' only to be replaced by daphne reid.

but out of the two, which one made less of an impression on you and why? the second becky or the second vivian?

I prefer the second Becky, actually. I prefered the first Vivian, so I'll vote for the second Viv here.

the first vivian was a smart, tough talking and no-nonsense woman who wouldn't put up with crap from anyone. the second one on the other hand was rather lenient and wasn't as strong-minded and identifiable with janet's vivian. she seemed to have a much more easy-going approach, which backfired because she didn't possess the confidence and tough discipline and strict attitude, that janet hubert-whitten had.

as for alicia's becky, she annoyed me a lot but at least she had personality and a temper to match. sarah chalke is a good actress, but her becky just didn't have the exact qualities that aliica's had. mind you though, if sarah had played becky FIRST, instead of alicia, then my view of that character would be different.

i don't like it though when the original cast member leaves the show and instead of their character being written off the show, he/she is replaced by another actor/actress

Same here wai, i dont like the original cast members leaving its not the same, its very rare that i like a "take over" of a cast member.

Definitely Vivian. I liked the original. I hated the original Becky.
