Uncertainty
I have no idea what is ahead in time for me. I do not know if what tomorrow will bring, I don’t even know what will happen I do not know if I will grow up and become a husband and/or father I do not know if I will become rich and prosperous I do not know if I will become the president of the United States I do not know if I will become a big time movie star I do not know if I will live till 102 I do not know if I will create the cure for cancer But I do know this; I am alive today and have the potential to do all of those things. Nature The trees are vibrant with their beautiful green leaves. The river runs swiftly and flowingly down the banks. Birds sing happily and fly around beautifully, giving me free music. I can feel the wind blowing all around me, like a free AC. The sky is the prettiest color ever, the color of egg blue The rainbow is so spectacular, and it reminds me of Skittles. The sun shines brightly on all of the world, making me feel happy. There is no other place in the world I’d rather be Than to be right here, enjoying and studying nature. Just give me your honest opinion.......................... |

Fine. My honest opinion.
The second one, Nature, I do like fairly well. You do a nice job of pointing to some of the wonderful views in nature, while at the same time equating them to some of the niceties of modern life (oh how do I like Skittles...). The first one isn't even really much of a poem. It just seems more of a list of doubts followed by the statement that you have potential. Great for self-help, but not really a poem. Sorry. :-( Keep trying, though! :-) |

Great for self help! ROTFL! Does anyone believe that self-help works, though?
