first of all, Time-Life only released the first season; but CBS-Paramount realesed the first 2 seasons.

From what I've read, the CBS-Paramount release of season 1 is better than the Time-Life release. Both are the same, but the CBS-Paramount one includes an extra disc with 4 of Jack & Tonys favorite episodes. And the season 2 release is only so-so.

i think the packaging of the time life season 1 was a little nicer

While I don't have a DVD player yet, I appreciate the input. When the time comes, I'll check out the local music store and also Amazon. In the meantime I'm hoping TVLand or another network will pick up The Odd Couple. Wouldn't that be great?!
