Default Can you believe a Cashier was having personal conversation on the phone?

I never knew that someone could do something this DUMB. Why make yourself look foolish and have a phone conversation while you are dealing with customers?? I was outdone tonight.

If she wants to have a personal conversation she needs to get some job training to work in a office environment.

Has anyone ever seen this silly sh*T?

I believe it - especially when the cashiers are teenagers.

I work at Kroger as a bagger/cleaner and while they're not allowed to have cell phones at the registers, sometimes they get a phone call. They'll have the call transfered to the register and talk. I've seen that happen a few times. It's not right. If we get a little mad when the customer is talking on a cell phone during the check out, then we, the employees shouldn't be on the phone either.

Don't forget that girls, especially, can hide a bluetooth under their hair.

I HATE that! lol

I'll see people walking down the isles by themselves and they'll be talking away. I always do a double take, thinking they're just talking to themselves. I guess we've hit a new laziness. We can't actually hold the phone, but we've gotta talk!

I've heard cashiers talking on the phone several times, and it is very annoying to me. The cashiers make you feel like you are interupting them by forcing them to do their jobs!
