okay this is my first fanfic and i've been writing it for a while. if you guys like it i'll keep posting in sections.Well here it goes...
It was a warm autumn day in the quaint town of Peekskill, New York. Every girl in the entire state seemed to be crammed outside the gates of Eastland waiting for the new school year to begin. Blair Warner surveyed her students from her bedroom window as a warm smile crept across her face. “I’m glad I kept the school open” she thought “A law firm would have been nice but nothing can beat this” Blair’s eyes once again roamed about Eastland’s lush grounds. Her gaze fell upon a group of buildings in the distance. Blair knew that just several thousand yards away the Eastland School for boys was also preparing to open its gates. The newer addition to the Eastland program had been built several years earlier in order to carry on a hundred year old tradition and start a new one of hers. Suddenly Blair snapped out of her silent reverie and her big brown eyes glanced down at her Rolex. Startled at how much time had passed, she started down the stairs to open the gates of Eastland on yet another year. ********************** The woman once again peeked out the window looking onto the quaint streets of Peekskill for any sign of the girls. “Edna sit down, they’ll be here” said her companion, a handsome man of about seventy-six. Edna once again turned to the window. Bruce just sighed. He couldn’t blame his wife. She hadn’t seen Natalie and Tootie since Nat’s wedding seven years before. Edna remembered how happy Natalie had been that day. It wasn’t at all like the night Natalie, in tears, had called her and said she and her husband Seth were getting a divorce. The woman’s gleaming red head turned, once more, to the window as her mind switched to happier things. Jo, who she hadn’t seen since her return from Africa would be arriving at Blair’s anytime now. Later everyone would be going out to dinner and then coming back to the former site of Edna’s Edible’s and Over Our Heads for desert. Mrs. G. couldn’t wait for the whole gang to be together again. *********************** Jo Bonner’s left thumb tapped against the steering wheel in anticipation. She couldn’t wait to get to the reunion in Peekskill. Jo was going to stay with Blair in her home at Eastland. The brunette remembered how crazy she thought Blair was when she bought the old school. But Blair hadn’t given up and now the school was once again one of the top boarding schools in the nation. A slight stir from the back seat caused Jo’s green eyes to quickly glance away from the road. Jo was relieved to see her four year old daughter still sleeping peacefully. Suddenly the woman’s cell phone rang. “Hello, Jo Bonner speaking” “Hey, it’s me” said a male voice on the other end. “Oh hi, me” Jo teased. “Ha Ha, laughed her husband Rick “Look I’m really sorry, he began. “Let me guess” interrupted Jo, a hint of irritation in her voice. “ You won’t be able to make it this weekend, because-“ “We have to fly out to California for a gig” he finished. ”I’m really sorry Jo.” “It’s alright, I understand” Jo told him. Though she tried to be cheerful Rick could still detect the disappointment in her voice. *********************** well, should i keep going? thanks for the replys!
The stretch limo had trouble maneuvering around the streets of Peekskill, and also attracted much unwanted attention. People in their cars slowed almost to a halt staring at the gleaming white vehicle, all the while wondering what big star was visiting their little town. By the time the limo reached it’s destination Edna Garrett was already down by the curb ready to greet her new arrivals. “Natalie” she yelled as one woman emerged from the vehicle. “Tootie” she exclaimed as a chauffer opened another door and her friend stepped out. Both women ran to hug ,Edna and catch up non seven years of news. The three, arm in arm, headed up to the porch, each with tears of joy glittering in their eyes. *********************** The dark haired woman stopped in front of the house inside the Eastland gates. It doesn’t really seem like Blair, she thought to herself. Though not elaborate the house was rather large and very neat. It went well with its surroundings. Jo lifted Erica onto her hip and headed up the walkway. Just as she was about to knock on the door she was startled by a voice just behind her. Upon turning around she almost dropped Erica. “Nat, Tootie, Mrs. G.!” she exclaimed ‘It’s great to see you guys again!” Jo gave each of her closest friends an awkward hug. “Let me guess” Natalie said, gesturing toward Jo’s small companion “This is your daughter” “Yep” Jo answered smiling “This is Erica” Upon hearing her name the childs eyelids fluttered open revealing a pair of green eyes identical to her her mother’s. “Hello Erica” said Mrs. Garrett smiling. “Hi” came the soft replys as the little girl stared down at the ground. Now Ricki, don’t be shy” laughed Jo using her daughters nickname. “You know who Tootie, Natalie, and Mrs. Garrett are! I’ve told you about them lots of times.” The little girl once again looked up, this time a smile spreading across her face. ************************ “Tootie try knocking again” said Mrs. Garrett who was beginning to get worried. “Mrs. Garrett ir Blair was here she would have answered” “You’re right Tootie” Mrs. Garrett sighed. “I guess we’l just have to wait” Just then, Natalie and Jo, who had been checking the back, appeared. “Any luck?” asked Tootie. “Not a sign of Blair” answered Natalie. “Mommy” cried Erica “Who’s that?” Four heads turned to the direction tha Erica’s chubby finger was pointing. Each woman was wonderind the same thing Who was the girl hurrying up the path towards them? ************************* i know that was really boring but it gets better. anyway i probaly won't be able to post for a couple of days cuz i have a dance competion. also, i have more written but it takes me forever to type. soooo...i'll try to post more asap. thanx all, anyway here's more
************************** Just as the girl neared them Mrs. G. exclaimed “Girls I just remembered! I left my purse in my car! I’ll be right back.” As she hurried away the other women thought they saw Mrs. Garrett give a slight greeting to the mysterious girl. “Oh I’m sorry I kept you waiting” exclaimed the girl panting for breath. “You kept us waiting?” questioned Tootie “Yes, I’m very sorry” she said slipping a key into a lock on the door. “Wait a minute” said Jo, confused. “I thought Blair was supposed to meet us.” Well, she was” answered the mystery girl “but she couldn’t because she’s busy helping the younger girls get settled” the girl shoved the door open. “So why aeren’t you getting settled?” asked Tootie, as the women followed the girl inside. “Because I live here” smiled the girl “You live with Blair? Why?” asked Natalie “Because I’m her sister” Jo, who was halfway through the open door cried out in pain as she dropped her suitcase onto her foot. ************************** “Your Blair’s sister?” cried Tootie. “As in Bailey?” added Natalie “Oh girls, I’m sorry” laughed Mrs. Garrett, who had just enetered the house “ I should have told you who Bailey was earlier.” “Here” said Bailey taking the heavy suitcase from Jo and setting it on the floor “Why don’t yoyu all sit down and wait for Blair while I change and put this in my room” Mrs. G. showed the girls to a large living room. ‘I see Blair is as rich as ever” said Nantalie noticing the large television set. Jo had been quiet for quite some time. She couldn’t get over the fact that the tall, thin, light brown haired girl was actually Blair’s sister, Bailey. “So Jo, what’s been happening in your life lately?” began Natalie. *************************** “Hello” called Blair as she opened the door to her Eastland home. “Anyone here?” Suddenly out of nowhere came Jo, Natalie, and Tootie, each one flying at her. Jo reached Blair first and the two women embraced. Seconds later they were joined by the other half of their clan and the four women all hugged. ************************** still boring, i know. i'll try to post more tonight after i get back from volleyball. |

here's more
************************** Bailey watched as her sister and her friends laughed, talked, and remembered good times. They hadn’t stopped for breath all the way to the restaurant. Now the four were huddled around Mrs. Garrett’s table eating her strudel. The girl remembered a time when Blair had laughed and talked with her. Bailey had always looked up to Blair, but it had been more than a year since the sisters had been more than related. “So Bailey” began Jo “Blair tells me you play volleyball” “Yes” answered Bailey slightly smiling. “I had my first practice today. That’s why I was late.” “You know I-“ began Jo. “You were late” questioned Blair her voice stern and eyes flashing “Yeah, practice ran late” replied the girl as Jo and Natalie exchanged looks across the table. “Bailey I specifically told you to be on time!” Blair practically screamed. “I just wanted you to-“ “Blair, cool it” cut in Mrs. G. from the couch. “She was hardly late at all. And we had to much to catch up on to notice.” “Yeah it wasn’t a problem” put in Jo as Erica climbed onto her lap. Bailey gave her a grateful smile. “So Blair” began Tootie trying to change the subject “How’s your mother? I haven’t heard from her in soooo long” Mrs. Garrett watched as Baileys wounded expression changed to surprise in a matter of seconds. “Blair” said Bailey ‘don’t they know?” “Know what” asked Natalie voicing everyone but the Warner’s, question. “You never told them did you” said Bailey softly “It’s been almost a year ans you haven’t even told your best friends!” she continued her voice getting louder. “Told us what” asked a confused Tootie “My mother is dead” screamed Bailey ‘She’s dead and Blair doesn’t even care! She doesn’t care about anything but that stupid school!” Bailey was crying now. “I hate that school! And I hate you!” Bailey said addressing Blair “I hate everything!” Bailey ran out the door in to the dark autumn night. ************************** “Where could she be” cried Blair frustrated “How could she just run off like that?” ‘Blair don’t worry. I’m sure she’s alright” Jo told her. The brunette woman looked over at her distraught best friend. The ting that puzzled her was that Blair seemed more angry than worried over her sister. During the past hour the five women and Bruce had been all over Mrs. Garrett’s neighborhood. The whole time Blair had only muttered curses to Bailey under her breath. Now the two women and Erica were on their way to Blair’s home. “Mommy” Erica said from the backseat. “Yes, sweetheart?” “Will Bailey be okay” asked the little girl “ I like her” “I’m sure she’ll be fine” said Jo, not wanting to upset her young daughter. “Of course she’ll be fine’ Blair muttered under her breath “until she get home” ************************** k,guys before i post more do you guys think i should keep going or forget about it? i have more written but i'm not happy with all of it especially the parts i already posted. Please, let me know what you think. |

sorry i haven't posted for a while but my laptop's being weird. it's a little better now though. sooo.....
************************** “Blair I found a note” called Jo from her former roommate’s kitchen. “What does it say” asked Blair hurrying in, with Erica tagging not far behind. Jo’s green eyes scanned the piece of notebook paper in front of her “It says she’s spending the night in Carrie’s dorm and she’ll be back in the morning before the assembly.” “Is that all” snapped Blair, as Jo nodded “ I can’t believe her” Blair was yelling now “She thinks she can do whatever she wants! She doesn’t care about anyone else!” “Blair you need to calm down” said Jo slowly as she tried to comfort Erica who clutching her mother’s legs in fright. “Oh I’m sorry honey. Did I scare you?” Blair asked holding her arms out to the little girl who promptly ran to her. “ I’m gonna go call Mrs. G. and tell her everything’s okay” said Jo as she cast a worried glance at her friend who was slightly shaking. ************************** “It’s funny” said Natalie on the way to Eastland the next morning. “What’s funny?” asked Tootie. The two women were each giving a speech about their careers after Eastland. “How Bailey’s so different from Blair” “Oh” laughed Tootie “You’re right. Bailey plays volleyball” she began “And Blair wouldn’t be caught dead playing a sport” Nat finished for her. “Or with a hair out of place” continued Tootie “Or with hair any color but blond” the two women continued laughing as they pulled through the gates of Eastland. *************************** The Eastland auditorium was filled with chattering students, Tootie and Natalie were prepared with speeches and Bailey was nowhere to be found. Just then Jo rushed in, breathless. “I checked with Carrie” dhe told Blair “ she hasn’t seen Bailey since she arrived yesterday, and Bailey never said anything about running away.” “I just wish” began Tootie but her words were cut short when Jo began coughing. “Jo are you alright?” asked Natalie who was holding Erica. Jo began to nod but instead slumped against Blair as dizziness overtook her body. “Jo!” cried Blair catching her friend. “Are you okay?” asked Tootie with concern. “I’m fine” said Jo recovering. As the three women helped Jo to her seat Blair took a good look at her best friend. Jo’s usually glowing, tan complexion seemed wan and pale, while she seemed to thin and even weak. The quick jog from Carrie’s dorm to the auditorium, that would have been a snap for Jo just a few years ago, now seemed to quench Blair’s friends strength entirely. Instead of voicing her concern and alarming Erica, Blair decided to talk to Jo later that evening after the little girl had gone to sleep. “Blair don’t you think we should get started?” Natalie queried. Blair nodded. “But what about Bailey” Tootie said. “I can’t wait for my sister forever” said Blair obviously agitated over her sisters tardiness. “Let’s go” Blair headed up to the stage followed by Natalie and Tootie, while Erica and a still shaken Jo watched from the front row. After a quick explanation on why the assembly had been called Blair introduced Natalie. ‘Good morning” began the writer “As you may know I am the author of two books, when will I – Natalie was cut off by the creaking of the heavy wooden doors at the entrance to the auditorium. Four-hundred heads turned, in complete silence towards the back of the room. Bailey stepped in, her clothes wrinkled and large circles under her puffy, red eyes. Blair marched down the aisle, grabbed her sisters arm and said in a whisper llloud enough for the whole room to hear “Where the h*ll have you been?” “At Carrie’s” Bailey answered quietly as she was dragged to her seat at the front of the room. “You liar” cried Blair, slapping her sister much to the surprise of her friends and students. “I checked with Carrie Howard” “No” cried Bailey shaking her head and holding her hand against her red cheek. “Carrie Hugh’s” She said tears hidden in the corners of her eyes. Blair shoved her sister into the seat next to Erica. “You-“ She was about to yell some more when her angry tirade against her sister was broken by Jo fainting and slipping out of her seat. ************************** alrighty, i'm gonna try to post more later but if i don't you'll know it's because i've gotten so mad at my laptop that i've thrown it out the window.
