Has anyone had this happen? I bought a movie for my sister. The case, artwork and disc all claimed to be the correct movie, yet when I put it in the dvd player to make sure everything with it was fine it turned out to be a completely different movie. My sister wanted Dr. Dolittle so I bought that for her. The movie on the disc though was Big Trouble In Little China. I don't know how that could happen. I bought it on Amazon.

I thought that was strange.

I'm sorry to hear that, Jenny. I've never had that happen to me - I just hope you get a refund/exchange soon!!

They put that in there so no one would buy any post Nutty Professor Eddie Murphy movies

She should just watch that though,its probably better than Dr. Dolittle anyways. Or if she wanst Eddie Murphy, get her Beverly Hills Cop or Coming to America.

Sounds like when I went to Movie Gallery to rent Treasure Planet and someone had thrown a Boat Trip DVD in the box.

lol, well... Dreamgirls and the first Shrek were both really good. But I agree for the most part.

Don't forget Trading Places for great Eddie Murphy movies to get her

I haven't had that happen to me - but that is pretty frustrating!! Not Amazon's fault, though, because they were not the ones that made that disc.

One time, though, I brought the... I think... 3rd season of Mary Tyler Moore on DVD. This was nearly two years ago... anyway, I got home and opened it, only to discover I had a disc 1, disc 2 and disc 2. No disc 3. So I had to take it back to the store, and they refunded me my money. I was going to get a replacement MTM set, but they were all out so I got my money back instead. That really sucked when that happened, so I understand your frustration.

Ive had that happen to me with a cd i brought a bob dylan cd and to my grief i saw what was wait for it........Britney spears!!

I took it back with the receipt and they were fine, actually found it funny.

i bought a bad religion cd one time and there was no disc in it even though it was sealed. i just downloaded all the songs instead.

I've never had that happen before. I wonder how the manufacturing slipped somewhere during the process. You might want to contact Amazon and explain the situation.

I've never had that happen, but just the other day my dad had bought a book and he was reading it when the pages in the middle of the book didn't make sense. Turns out that a whole other book by a different author was in the middle of this book!

Dad took it back and got his money back, but it was very funny!
