Post "Made in Heaven" The Reunion Series, Ep #4!

Hey, peeps! It's so good to be home! Welp, anyway, here's the first part of the next installment in the Reunion Series! Enjoy!

Rick Bonner couldn't believe what he was hearing. He got up from the couch to go ask his wife what she was so upset about. He found her in their room packing.
"Jo, what are you doing?" he asked, never having been so confused in all his life.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" she growled.
"Jo, why are you leaving? Would you please tell me what's going on?"
"Rick, I can't even look at you now, after what you did, let alone-"
"What did I do? Jo, I have no idea what's going on!"
"Look, maybe when I cool down I'll call you, but untill then the kids and I will be at Blair's."
"At Blair's? Jo, why are you going? I am completely dumbfounded! Why are you going?!" he screamed in frustration.
Jo called to her kids. "Jamie, ready?"
"Yes, mama," Jamie said, very scared and unsure of what was going on.
"Okay, sweetie, get in the car, I'll get Teddy. It's open."
"Jo, you have no right to take away my kids. They're just as much mine as they are yours," he said, trying to remain calm, for their kids sake, if no one else's.
"I need them with me." She finished her packing and for the first time looked right at him and her face soured up. "You disgust me! I can't believe you would do a thing like that!"
He flung his hands in the air. "Jo, would you, for the last time, explain what's going on!"
"I should be asking you the same thing, but once I'm away from you, at Blair's I'll call you." She paused. "I don't want to be near you when you try to tell me some lame excuse. I'll probably try to kill you. I can't believe you would do something like this to me, to our children!"
"Jo, what is it?! For God's sake, I have no idea what's going on! I haven't done anything to hurt you or the kids!"
"Bye, Rick." She picked up her suitcase, went into Teddy's room, picked him up from his crib. He was crying as she picked up his little bag of stuff. As she heard her baby cry, tears welled up in her eyes. She thought this happened to other marriages, but not hers. She went to the car, looked back at Jamie, siting in the back seat, who was staring out the window, bewildered and unaware of what was happening.
"Put your seatbelt on, honey." Jamie obeyed. She put her keys in the ignition and drove off for Blair's. Rick ran out the front foor, waving his hands and screaming for them to come back. After he watched them go turn the corner and out of sight, he went back in his house. He had a knaw at the pit of his stomach; he knew they would be back. He hoped so anyway, then the thought struck him, his wife and kids had just left him. He shook his head in shock. How could he live without his wife and children?

In the car, all was silent. Even little Teddy sensed the mood and had stopped crying. Jo picked up her cell-phone and dialed Blair's number. It rang twice then Jo heard that ever familiar and comforting voice.
"Hello?"
"Blair? It's me."
"Oh, hi, Jo! How's it going? Everything all right? You don't sound-"
"Can I come over to your place for a while? With the kids?"
"Of, course! You know that! Is Rick coming?"
"No." She paused. "I've left him."
Blair's voice sounded shocked and she couldn't believe what she was hearing. Jo and Rick had always had a wonderful relationship, what possibly could have happened?
"You what? Jo, I'm shocked! What happened?"
"Well-"

Like it so far?

------------------
Jo: Partners? You mean 50-50? Uh, 50-50-50-50-50?
Blair: Good, Jo, we'll let you do the books!

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

And from your two resident off-topic queens, Danielle and I, who are still looking for that 12 step program by the way:

*^*^*~~~God Bless~~~*^*^*

Welp, the way I figure it, my first fanfic called the Reunion was Ep #1. Then the Reunion Sequel wa Ep #2. then the Reunion Sequel Sequel was Ep #3. You can call this the Reunion Sequel Sequel Sequel if you like, but I didn't want to confuse anyone even more. All clear? lol Hope so, anyway, here's more! And thanks for replying those of you that did!

"Is it really serious?" Blair asked.
"Look, I'll tell you when I get there," Jo said, looking at her kids.
"Okay, Jo, see you soon."
"Bye."
"Bye." Jo hung up and looked back at her daughter. She had her face in her hands.
"You okay, honey?"
Jamie looked up with bloodshot eyes. "I'm gonna see daddy again, right?" she pleaded.
Jo just looked at her, then put her eyes back on the road.

That afternoon, at a UPN studio lot, Tootie stood at her marked place for the blocking of a certain scene they were rehearsing.
"Toot, at the end of that line, where is it?" He looked back down at the script in his hand. "Right, on the line, 'Why don't we?' move center, towards him, that's right." Tootie did as he directed her.
"This far?"
"Yeah, that's good. Then you, Mike, move towards her, nod, yeah, exactly, just like it says, and I want you to put your hands on her waist, then pull her shirt up over her head, then-"
"Hold it right there," Tootie said. "You want him to what?"
"You, heard, me, Toot, he pulls your shirt over your-"
"For the last time, would you please call me Tootie or Dorothy, anything but Toot."
"Fine, Tootie, shut up and let me do my job."
"Well, excuse me, but I don't want to take my shirt off in this scene, and besides that's not even in the script! It says he takes her hand, they go into the bedroom, close the door, and the screen fades out."
"Oh, yeah, we forgot to put that in, but anyway, just do as I say, now Mike, pull her shirt-"
"Did you hear me?! I said I'm not-"
"Yes, YOU ARE! This is what we here in REAL show business call, a nude scene."
"WHAT?! You're out of your mind if you think I'm going to take off all my clothes and-"
"Well, then you're out of your mind to think you'd be a star and not ever have to do a nude scene!"
Tootie looked at her director in shock. He couldn't seriously be asking her to do that.

At an adoption agency in Peekskill, Natalie and her husband of nearly a year were sitting in an office and being interviewed about their possibly being parents to an adopted baby.
"How long have you been married?" asked a warm, personable, redhead, being the desk.
"Almost a year, ten months," replied Bill.
"And why do you want to adopt a child?" the woman asked, writing notes on a form.
"Well, I can't have children, and that's something we both want more than anything," Bill said, very sincerely.
"We will do whatever it takes to get a child. We will provide it with a good home, a financially secure future, and most importantly, love," Natalie said.
"Well, Mrs. Newland, I see you're as articulate in person as you are in your writings."
"Oh, thank you," said Natalie, pleasantly surprised the woman knew her.
"I read your book, the Facts of Life, and was quite taken with it," said the woman, losing her business like persona and loosening up. "But, I'm sorry, back to business, you both seem very sincere, you've outlined your life for us, and I don't see any reason why you would be withheld a child, but I must remind you, there are many couples and few children. You'll be on our list soon I'm sure, our chief has to inspect your form and we will be having a surprise visit to your home within the next few weeks, just routine stuff, to check the environment, but even once you're on the list, it takes quite a while."
Bill spoke up, "Do you have any idea how long it might be?"
"I wish I could say, but it could be in a month or a year, it's very hard to predict. Although, one good thing is, I noticed on your form, you didn't put any real requirements for your child." She looks over the form again. "No specific age, sex, appearance, nationality, that's very good, as some couples may have a very specific idea of what they want their baby to look like, and we may go down the list excluding many couples of a certain baby, as it didn't fit their requirements, and we'll be able to give it to you!"
Natalie turned to Bill. "Wouldn't that be wonderful?" She was so excited, she could barely stand it.
"I know, that would be wonderful. Well, is there any more information you need?" Bill asked, also catching Nat's excitement.
"Not that I can see right now, but if we need anything we'll call, and don't forget, we'll be sending an agent out to your home within the next two weeks."
"We won't forget, and thank you again," Bill said, extending his hand. The woman shook it, and they all stood up.
"Yes, thank you very much," Natalie echoed, also shaking the woman's hand. They left the office and got in their car to go home.
"Did you hear her? It sounds like it might be soon!" Nat wanted to jump up and down but figured that wouldn't be a good idea, seeing as how they were in a car.
"Now, Nat, don't get your hopes up, it may take a while."
"I know, just let me enjoy myself while I dream of being a mother." She smiled at him, and he returned the gaze. He leaned in and kissed her and said, "I can't wait!"

Please, tell me what ya think, and I'll have more a little later today. Thanks 4 reading!

Thanks to everyone for the nice complements! Here's more! It's almost done!

Blair paced her living room as her husband Robert tried to calm her down.
"I'm sure it's just a spat, they'll make up and be back together in no time."
"No, I know Jo, she wouldn't just get up and leave unless it was something serious."
"Blair, sit down, you shouldn't be running around while you're eight months pregnant."
"I know, I'm just very worried." She sat down on their couch. Fell down is a more accurate description. She was quite large, even for eight months, and the doctors had told her to expect a large baby and a long delivery.
"Look, she can stay here as long as she likes, it'll probably even be good for you to be around a person who's had a baby and knows what to do, just in case."
"Robert, for the last time, stop worrying! It's unlikely this baby is coming until it's good and ready!" She returned to their original subject. "But I still can't believe she wants to leave him. Rick's always been such a great guy, caring, devoted to her, he loves those kids to death."
"I know, I know..." Just then the doorbell rings. Blair starts to get up, but Rob stops her. He gets up and answers the door.
"Jo!" He sees her trying to force a smile, but it's not working. He looks at the yawning baby she's holding on her hip. "Hey, Teddy!" The baby is falling asleep. He looks down at the little girl who's holding Jo's hand. She looks very sad. "And Jamie, it's good to see you!"
"Rob, you don't have to pretend. They know."
"Oh. Come on in. You should know by now you don't have to ring the bell." They walked in and Jamie sat next to her Aunt Blair and Jo sat in a chair across from the couch, with Teddy in her arms.
"I'm really sorry to impose on you like this, but-"
"Jo, please, don't apologize. Now, tell me, what's going on?"
"Jamie, why don't you take Teddy upstairs and play a while." She turned to Blair. "Is it all right if she goes in the baby's room?"
"Of, course."
"Thanks. Go on guys." She hands Teddy to Jamie and she stumbled a little bit, trying to carry the heavy baby. "Be careful now, don't mess things up in there, and don't let Teddy off by himself, and don't-"
"I know, mom, I know..." She took Teddy to the baby's room and left her mom alone with Blair and her husband.
"I can leave if you want-" started Rob.
"Please, Rob, stay, it's all right." She looked down and felt her whole world crashing in on her.
"Now, Jo, please tell me what happened."
"Okay." She sighed heavily. "Today I went to the club Rick's playing at. Teddy had started to walk and he told me to come tell him or show him as soon as he did. So, I was all excited, I had Teddy with me and we were gonna show Rick how good Teddy was walking. So, I walked in," she took a deep breath, "and there he was, sitting at his piano, with some slut sitting on his lap, all kissing and caressing him." She felt a tear roll down her cheek, yet she didn't feel the need to cry. All she wanted at that moment was to slug Rick with the biggest punch she'd ever hit anyone with.
"Well, that doesn't prove anything! Was he buying it or was he pushing her off?" Blair said, confused at her friends jumping to conclusions.
"C'mon, Blair, some girl's sitting on your husband's lap, what would you do?"
She looked over at Robert. "Well, I'd at least wait for an explanation."
"An explanation?! What's to explain?!"
"Jo, I can't believe you're still doing this! I thought you'd grown out of that! Running away from a problem instead of dealing with it!"
"You know who you sound like, of course," Jo said, lowering her voice.
"Well, didn't she always give us good advice?"
Jo had to admit that, but she hated it when someone else was right and she was wrong. She knew she had too much pride, but she wouldn't admit it.
"Well, I told Rick I'd call him when I was ready."
"Call him, Jo." She got up, with some assistance from Rob, and got their phone. She handed it to Jo. "You, at the very least, owe him that."
Jo silently took the phone from Blair's hand. She dialed their number slowly, then put her hand over the receiver. "Can I go in the other room?"
"Sure." Jo got up and went in Blair's kitchen and after the first ring, Jo heard Rick's voice. It was obviously frantic and desperate.
"Jo? Jo, is that you?" he asked, and she cold here the sincerity in his voice.
"Yes, it's me."
"Oh, thank God, Jo. We got a call from our insurance man and before he could tell me who he was, I'd explained everything to him and begged him to believe me. Needless to say, there was a long silence on the other end."
Jo laughed a little. The poor man, maybe it was a big mistake.
"Rick, I came to the club today."
"You did? Why didn't you speak to me?"
"Well, you looked a little busy."
"Oh, my gosh, Jo, I think I know why you're upset! When did you come around?"
"Mid-afternoon."
"Oh, Jo, you came when that girl was hassling me!"
"Hassling you?"
"Yeah, she was tickling me and trying to sit on my lap... I was trying to push her off me, didn't you see that?"
Jo tried to remember. "I'm not sure....I guess I didn't look that hard. Then you don't know her?"
"Of course not! Even I have better taste than that!"
"So then, there's nothing going on between you and-"
"No, Jo, there's is nothing, never has been, never will be. Please believe me. I would never do a thing like that to you or the kids. This marriage was made in heaven and I would never do anything to jeopardize it."
Jo breathed a sigh of relief. How stupid she'd been, she thought. Of course Rick wouldn't do that.
"Okay, Rick, I believe you."
Now it was his turn to breathe the sigh of relief. "Thank you, Jo. So, can you come home now? I'm dying without my kids here." He laughed a little.
"Just your kids?"
"And you, too, I guess," he said playfully. "So, coming? Want me to pick you up?"
"No, I'll drive back right now. Let me get the kids together and we'll be on our way."
"Good. I love you, Jo."
"I love you, too. Bye." They hung up. Jo thought about what a dope she'd been. All this could have been avoided if she'd just let him explain in the first place. She vowed never to do that again. She walked out of the kitchen and back into the living room, where Blair and Rob were.
"It was all a mistake. Misunderstanding."
"Good," Rob said.
"Thank God," Blair breathed.
"So, thank you again for letting me come."
"You're always welcome here, Jo," Blair reassured her friend.
"I'll get the kids." Jo went to the baby's room and got Jamie and Teddy.
"Jamie, give Teddy to me, we're going home."
"We are?" Jamie asked excitedly.
"Yes."
"Hurray!" Jo laughed along with her daughter and she picked Teddy up.
"Hi, baby, how are ya?" Teddy gurgled and yawned again.
"Tired, huh? Well, soon you'll be in your bed." She turned to Jamie, "Ready?"
Jamie nodded and they headed for home.

That night, Tootie went back to her apartment in New York, and looked around for her husband, Jeff.
"Jeff? Where are you?"
"In here!" he said, from their bedroom. She walked in, and he was lying on his back on their bed. "I'm just resting. Long day at work. You?"
"Well, today we had some problems." She looked down and fiddled with the strap of her purse.
"Problems? Like what? Everything okay?"
"Well....no. Today our director, Matt, you know? He wanted me to do a...a....nude scene."
"A What?! He's out of his mind if he thinks you're gonna-"
"Well, that's what I told him, but-"
"What is it with these show biz people?! They're all insane! They have no morals, no values, no sensetivity, no consideration!" He looked at his wife in desperation. "Tootie, is it worth all this? Is it really worth it? To be told you're too fat and people threatening you to take illegal pills, people asking you to do something you know is morally and ethically wrong? Is it worth all this just to be a famous star?"
Tootie lost it. She began to cry and her body shook uncontrollably. Jeff got up from the bed and ran to her. He put his arms around her to comfort her. He wanted her to know he was still on her side, but things were looking pretty glum. Tootie knew he was right, but what could she do? She wanted more than almost anything to be a famous actress, to be loved and adored by millions. But that fame comes at a price. Would she be willing to pay it?

More?

Thanks 4 reading and replying! Here's the next to last part!

Natalie and Bill were lying on their bed, smiling, and looking up at the ceiling. They looked over at each other every once and a while and their smiles widened.
"Amanda?" Nat asked.
"I like it. What about a boy?"
"Joseph, David, Matthew..."
"Biblical names?"
"Well, I am Jewish. And I like those names anyway."
"So do I."
She smiled at him. "Good." She rolled over, turned off the light, and laid her head on his chest. They fell asleep.

That night, Jo pulled up in her driveway, and Rick peeked out the front door. He didn't know whether to run to them and hug them and kiss then, which is what he wanted to do, or whether to just stay away and let Jo come to him. He stood there and looked at them, relieved and complete with the rest of his family. Jo held Teddy in her arms and Jamie ran to her father.
"Daddy! Daddy!" She threw her arms up, he picked her up and hugged her and squeezed her. She threw her arms around his neck. He kissed her forehead and her cheeks.
"I missed you, baby," was all he could say. Words couldn't express how happy he was to have her in his arms. Jo walked closer to him, and he took Teddy from her arms.
"Hi, Teddy!" The baby yawned again.
"He's pretty tired," Jo said, taking Teddy away, walking towards his room, and laying him in his crib. Jamie looked back up to her dad.
"I missed you, daddy."
"I missed you, too." He kissed her once again. "It's late, you'd better get to bed."
"Okay, goodnight, daddy." She kissed his cheek and went to her room. Jo came out of Teddy's room and stood a few feet away from Rick. He couldn't tell from her expression how she felt so he stayed where he was. They both looked at each other.
"Jo-"
She put her hand up, shook her head, and walked towards him. He held out his arms for her, and she fell into them. He hugged her so tightly she had to say something.
"Ummm...I can't breathe."
"Sorry." He let her go for a few moments. "When I thought I'd lost you, I didn't know what I was going to do."
"I'm sorry, too." She looked around. "It's good to be home."
"You were only gone about an hour."
"I know, but somehow I just can't stay away from you."
He looked at her and smiled. He brought her to him once again and kissed her. She felt a slight tickle of some whiskers above his lip that had grown over the day.
"You're furry," she said, laughing at the tickle.
"Well, thank you my lady for that gracious and rather different comment." He took her hand, bent down and kissed it. He let go of her hand and put it on her waist and dragged it up her back. He brought her to him once again.
"It's good to feel you again, Jo."
"C'mon, I was only gone an hour."
"Yes, but an hour without you is like a lifetime without love."
"Oh, how poetic."
"C'mon, let's go to bed." They kissed once more, relishing each other. He took her hand, they walked to their room and closed the door.

The next morning, Jo's eyes opened slowly and she looked over to see Rick sitting up in their bed, holding Teddy. Rick didn't see her wake up. She looked at little Teddy. She could see Rick's nose and mouth forming on him, but he still had her green eyes. He was going to look just like Rick. Rick saw Jo move out of the corner of his eye and he looked over at her.
"You awake?"
"Yup." She sat up in bed and leaned over and kissed Teddy. "Morning, sweetheart." He gurgled. She was so happy that he was a cheerful child, rarely cried, was always giggling.
Rick lifted the baby up and gave him to Jo. She cradled him in her arms. They both sat, speechless, in awe of their little wonder.

Also that morning, Tootie woke up to her phone ringing. She got out of bed and answered it, carefull so as not to disturb Jeff.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Tootie?"
"Yes, this is she."
"This is Dave Far*****n, one of the head writers for the show. We've met a couple times. I haven't been able to be at rehearsals as my wife's been in the hospital."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."
"Thank you, but I wanted to call you about a certain part of the script in question. We wrote a particular scene to be played a particular way, but someone's not complying."
"Well, I'm sorry, but I believe it is sexist and immoral to show naked people on television. It's exploitation and I won't allow myself to do that."
"No, I'm on your side, Tootie! It's that director that wants to change every scene to some steamy, unnecessary sex scene, when you can do things so much more tastefully, as I wrote!"
"So, you didn't want that scene to be like that?"
"No, and I'm calling to tell you that we've stopped production temporarily. We're having many meetings about all this. I wish you were invited, but you're not. This concerns you more than it does any of us, but they won't allow you in. But I also wanted to tell you that I'm going to fight them, and try to keep the scene as it was written."
"Well, it's very refreshing to hear someone on my side for a change. Thank you very much." They each hung up and Tootie felt very relieved. Maybe there was some morality in show biz, or at least a few people willing to stick up for it.

That morning, Natalie and Bill were eating breakfast when their doorbell rang.
"You don't suppose that could be-" started Nat.
Bill took a glance at the door. The figure and shape of the person behind the door didn't look familiar.
"I think it is."
"Oh, my gosh, I'm not ready! Let me get my bathrobe on. The living room's a mess and I forgot-"
"Nat, calm down, everything looks fine. Go put something on, and I'll answer the door."
Nat rushed to the bathroom, took her robe off the hook, and put it on. Bill opened the door.
"Hello there!" he greeted, with as much personality and zest he could muster.
"Hello, my name's Mary Gather and I'm from the adoption agency."
He opened the door a little and gestured. "Come in."

A month later, in Blair's bedroom, Blair's lying on her side of the bed, reading a baby book, while Robert is lying next to her, looking straight at her.
"Would you please stop looking at me, Robert?" she asked, getting a little annoyed at being constantly watched. "I mean, I'm used to being starred at, admired, adored, envied...but it's getting ANNOYING!"
"Are you sure you're all right? Today's your due date, remember?" he asked, with dark circles in his eyes.
"It is? Gee, I'd forgotten, although I don't know how, with you reminding every FIVE MINUTES!"
"Now, Blair, it's not good to get upset. Any stress could hurt the baby."
"Look, I'll calm down, if you'll LEAVE ME ALONE!"
"Fine." He folded his arms across his chest and pouted.
"Rob, c'mon, don't be a baby. Just don't keep pestering me every two seconds about whether I'm all right or not!"
He sighed. "Oh, all right, but you'll tell me if you feel anything?"
"Yes, I will."
"You won't go to the hospital without me?"
"No, I won't."
"Well, okay then, if you say so." He turned over and tried to fall asleep.
Blair smiled and laughed to herself. She went back to reading her book. She let out a restful sigh and Robert immediately spun around with a wild look in his eye.
"Did you feel something? Are you all right? OMG, you're in labor! Stay calm, Blair! Just stay calm! I'll call the hospital, you-"
"Robert, for the millionth time, I'M FINE!"
He looked at her. "You're sure?"
"Yes, I'm sure!"
"Well, honey as long as you feel all right I'm gonna go back to sleep. I'm exhausted. I'll be so glad once this baby's born. Night." He kissed her cheek.
All of a sudden she felt a slight jolt in her body.
"Oh." She thought for sure Rob would spin around again, but she could hear him snoring lightly.
"Rob? Rob, I don't feel so good."
"That's nice dear," Robert said in his sleep.
She felt another, quickly followed by another, and they increased in pain and intensity.
"No, Rob, you don't understand, I think I'm in labor!"
"Yes, honey, Max' ll ( ) be here for dinner. I'll cook if you want me, too," he said, once again, in his sleep. She couldn't hold it any longer.
"ROBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed as her water broke.
Robert turned around, half-asleep and sleepy-eyed.
"Did you say something, dear?"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! It's time! What do we do? I don't know what to do!"
"Call the hospital!!!!!!!!!!"
"Oh, right, right..." He leaped out of bed, dialed the hospital and got an ambulance to come to their place as soon as possible. Neither of them was in condition to drive. Rob called all her friends to tell them of the news. They all said they'd come.

At the hospital, in the waiting room, all Blair's friends were sitting and waiting for the debut of the Watersons' firstborn.
"I hope everything's okay in there," said Tootie, looking up at her friends, who were all standing.
"Me, too," Nat replied.
"I'm sure everything's fine," Jo said. "As much as I hate to admit it, Blair's strong, she can do it."
"Yeah, I know she'll be all right, but what about Robert?" asked Natalie.

"Is it over?" Robert asked squeamishly. He was sitting in a chair with his hands over his eyes in the delivery room.
"Nope, sorry, Mr. Waterson, but we're getting close," said one of the doctors.
"Is Blair all right?" he asked, unable to look at his wife, screaming in pain.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"I'll take that as a no."
