Question Earl Wants To Be A Writer

Earl starts out wanting to be a writer, then everybody on the show jumps in on it. I thought this was a odd episode. Any thoughts on it?
The only part I really liked was Darnell's singing number.

I thought it was a weird ep too. I didn't find it that funny until the cartoon sequence where Joy kicked Earl's head. It got a little better after that. Darnell singing was funny. He didn't focus on his list at all.

It was a bizarre episode to say the least. Definitely the worst episode of the show so far, IMO. I don't think I laughed once.

Not too crazy about shows doing "fantasy" episodes, but Joy's animated sequence was fun.

I totally agree. They need to get him out of jail if this is all the writers can come up with.

Agreed. Remember the "Cops" episode from last season? I was looking at the schedule earlier and theres going to be another Cops episode on Nov. 1st (a one hour episode). I actually thought the one from last season was pretty good but it's obvious that they're starting to run out of ideas, hopefully things will turn around soon.

Joy's animated sequence was the best and Darnell was great too! Catalina's telenovela was Eh to me. Only funny parts being when Randy was talking and that Joy thing was kind of funny but other than that, the episode reeked (I actually missed most of it and almost all of this week's). I have to catch up at NBC's site.
