Musician link game - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I know we have word and artist association games, but I thought about this one and would be fun to play. Basically you list an artist, then the next person finds a way to link that artist to another person, and so on, and so on:

For example:
post 1: The Rolling Stones
post 2: lead singer Mick Jagger sang with David Bowie
post 3: David Bowie toured with Nine Inch Nails/Trent Reznor
post 4: Trent Reznor sang backup on Tori Amos' "Past The Mission"
post 5: Tori Amos toured with Alanis Morissette
post 6: Alanis Morissette remade "Crazy", originally performed by Seal
and so on, and so on, and so on....
