did anyone else who were products of the 1980's and "cassette generation" used to record songs onto blank tapes just to listen to the "chipmunk style version" that you'd be hearing when it recorded from tape to blank tape?

no i wasn't one of those kids who'd do that, but i regularly visit youtube and listen to chipmunk versions of songs that people have posted, of which are very funny to hear
