Bosses Day? Really? That's a load of crap. For every good boss out there, there's at least one absolutely godawful excuse for a boss, and depending on personal experiences your mileage may vary. Just an extra "day" to sell more cards, cakes, cookies, and other junk.
I went to Panera Bread earlier today and there was a printout on the door commemorating the Bosses Day and the store's manager, and I couldn't help but wonder if the employees there *really* liked the guy, or if he (or one of his suckups) hadn't just put it there themselves. Being your own boss is wonderful. You're responsible for your successess and your failures, which means when something goes wrong, you do take the brunt; but when something goes well, you get all the credit you deserve |
