happy days season 3 will have replacement music i just read it on tvshowondvd.com why cbs/paramount why, i just hope they have not screwed with the deleted scenes hey with the music replacements that means we will not see some of the songs that the band had originally performed if season 3 does not do well it would not surprise me at all since cbs took over the paramount shows, i wish there was a way that paramount would by the rights back from cbs, i wonder why cbs teamed up or bought paramont in the first place, anyway i hope season 3 does well if not there will be no ther release peace

i am not shocked at all, but accorddiing to what i have just read which you can check it out for your self that due to the simple fact that there will be music replacments expected some or allot of deleted secenes, cbs paramount should be ashamed of themselves but thats natural, this was the worst news i heard, but thats cbs for you they do not care about the show at all, they are just gong too put it out there any way, what i read was they felt that it coost lost of money to get the rights that bull, but season 3 did not have from what i heard a whole lot of music but it have been nice too see and hear what was heard, i am not going to spend $30 on a show if its not good lets face it people buying the show with replacment music and missing scenes will just mess up the collection meaning season 1 all the way to wher they stop, i might buy it or i might not which depends on the review i no that allot of fans are going too be pissed if there are lots of deleted scenes which is shoown in syndication, cbs should have bought another company damn them

even though happy days season 3 will not have any of the original music that was heard on the abc broadcast i think its stupid for cbs/paramount too charge $30.00 for a show which would not have anything that was from the original broadcast like season one was its like fans who waited a long time for the series that took abc by storm back in the day will feel cheated to be honest i would not pay $30 for a show especiallly if everything is edited i do not now who to blame for these dvd cbs/paramount or the music right company share holders

It will be interesting to see what they do with the scene where Fonzie sings "Heartbreak Hotel".
That's the whole plot right there. Where Fonzie has to sing...are they going to cover it all with generic music -- add "magical" screams where you can't even hear Fonzie sing? MMMM? |

I'm sure Happy Days season 3 will be another release that will join season 2 in The Wall of Shame.

EVEN THOUGH CBS/PARAMOUNT HAS MADE all of OURLIVES A LIVING HELL DO based on the decision making pertanning to all of the dvd's which they now own, does anybody think that they have much as i really hate to bring this up some of the songs especially for season 3 and beyond which the band had originally performed which is a must see.

how have they made our lives a living hell, by putting there dvd out with the bad picture quality, music replacments and editing scenes that are shown in syndication, and making us spend our hard erned money that we work so hard on, on a long awaited series that is not like it was when it was shown on regulary television, and everything else which i refuse too get into. Does that answer your question

well, they've had some GOOD releases too. I've read that the DVD of season 1 of THE FUGITIVE is good, and their DVD of season 1 of THE ODD COUPLE is supposed to be GREAT, and season 2 is pretty good.
From what I've read, it's just their releases of HAPPY DAYS and LAVERNE & SHIRLEY that aren't very good. And "made our lives a living hell" is pretty strong; don't you think? |

let me just add this that happy days is a classic show that we have all been waiting for and for cbs/paramount too put there dvd's out without putting the effort into it and think that it is going too do well is not, because like i said time and time again sooner or later they are going to have to anwser to allot of people and the public about why these dvd's are constantly being messed up, and my mother has told me this that certian things comes too an end. If paramount would have held on to these programs we might would have seen everything intact like we saw with the first complete seasons. i just got where i lost total respect for cbs/paramount

Well I thought Season 1 of Happy days was done fairly well - albeit without extras (but what can you expect?).
Season 2 is another story. |

Hey you know what i was thinking too myself, which too me the damages to these seasons of happy days has already been done. If i were cbs/paramount this is what i would have done, i would have looked at a couple of episodes from both season two and three before i released them and tried too work out some kind of deal even though it would have cost allot of money too clear some of the music too these episodes and the rest replacments music in other words i would have mixed them up it would have worked in my opinion, but we all know how stubburn and cheep cbs/paramount is, they would not try to spend that kind of money of trying too clear some of the music too a few of these episodes. But i bet you all this that we will not see or hear any of the original songs that the band had originally performed. Which would suck if they did not clear the songs tat they did. That is all i am saying.
