October 15, 2007 -- NBC news anchor Brian Williams will anchor another NBC show, "Saturday Night Live," next month.

The comedy show made the surprise announcement at the end of its show this weekend.

Williams did a well-received cameo appearance on the first "SNL" show of the 2006 season - trying out for Tina Fey's seat on "Weekend Update."

...there IS no more "line" between news and entertainment anymore. I've very anxious to see what will happen when Williams DOES appear as a guest host next month.....
