Default Wednesday's episode...Slow Pitch

The Corner Gas Guzzlers...

Lacey being held up at some stupid, boring meeting while the gang waits for her at the softball field to play a game against the Wild Ones. If she isn't there by the fifth inning, they forfeit the game. So the Wild Ones say, "Hit every ball" while Brent says, "don't catch any of their balls".

Brent with Hank as they sit there chatting with the guy who plays for the other team, he says something abt the losers buying the winners "Beer AND NACHOS!"

my favorite part is former soft ball champ Emma having such a hard time hitting the ball, then Lacey, whos never played before comes up and gets a huge hit on her first try looks at Emma and says "That was easy!" And Emma, with looks that could kill "Yeah......right...easy"
Not to mention the 2 cops trying to ignore the fact that they know the other players have beer , but are pretending its juice.

CG is genius. Rather than have the camera solely on Emma as she swings, we see her in the background as the camera is showing us the other characters talking. You hear what they say, but you can't help but see Emma in the background swinging and missing.

Ok here is another, when Oscar is giving those terrible signals.

Lacey was at bat and Oscar was trying to shoo away a fly while giving signals.

I also love the way she took over the meeting when she wanted it to hurry along

Ok, I left the room for a quick second and wasn't sure what that meeting was all abt. I mean, how did it come abt? Why were they hung up on so many agendas? I was thinking they were trying to keep Lacey there on purpose so she could not get to the game.

I loved how she said free coffee to those who left in a minute.

Oh ok, that makes sense. Lacey trying to make a little more money when she can. And it backfired on her.

You see, I am getting to know the characters more and more.

Remember how Wanda got so drunk at the game? She was so cute and funny.
