Default Have no idea what this episode was...

I had somewhat woken up from a nap to find Corner Gas showing. I was so sleepy but trying to watch CG. I seen snippets so let me tell you what I seen.

Hank wanted to do a "ride-a-long" with Davis and Karen. He was wearing Davis' belt. He wanted to know why there was no crime.

Brent was seen turning off an alarm clock over and over and then he says, "I had a dream I had an alarm clock."

At the end, Davis is seen wearing that doggie ears thingy on his head (like in that pic I posted) and he was talking to kids in a school.

Episode 304: Dog River Vice When Emma gives Brent flack over his coffee drinking, he vows to quit cold turkey if she quits knitting. As Brent struggles in a caffeine free world, Emma takes up a new pastime with Oscar to counter her knitting needle withdrawal. But the cure may be worse than the addiction. Meanwhile Davis and Karen start a ride-along program that becomes a little too popular and Hank is at the mercy of his new electronic organizer.

That episode aired at 5:30...I am wondering if there was one showing at 5 pm.

There will be another at the usual time.

It just dawned on me that the folks in Chicago and back east, watch CG at MIDNIGHT! I wonder how the ratings are for a show that airs at that hour?

the Dog ear thing is One of Davis earlier "Community Policing " disasters that Karen uses as an example of why the Ride-Alongs are a bad idea! (Davis runs into a class room as Officer McWoof and yells "Stay away from drugs!!!" and the kids all run away screaming!!!

Yeah..although they do have those earlier showings you just mentioned, mostly the show is on rather late in the east ...Maybe WGN will change that if the show does well, despite that handicap

Oh ok, I was wondering what he yelled, I was like, "WTF?" when I seen the kids all yelling and running.

I just find it weird that a "new" show to the line-up is put on at that hour. I can see moving BECKER to midnight and trying CG earlier.

Sadly, i think maybe WGN saw this show as more a "time-filler" than as a prime time attraction, after all, in the past, Canadian sitcoms didnt do well in the USA...........Although, i think this show CERTAINLY deserves better!

The new (S5) episodes are on fairly late in Alberta too, at 10:30. It's not midnight late (that makes no sense whatsoever, crazy scheduling), but it's late enough that I had to miss it this week . I need my new CG fix!!!!

Can any fellow Canadians tell me how it was?

Sorry I haven't been around much. Midterms suck. Can't wait to do a thread catch-up!
