Default Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder Tops Worst Duet Poll

Paul McCartney will never perform his track Ebony And Ivory again after it was voted the worst song of all time. The Beatles legend - who teamed up with Stevie Wonder for the 1982 song - is embarrassed the track topped the BBC poll for worst duet in history.

A source tells British newspaper The Daily Express, "Paul now appreciates the songs hasn't aged well and the word is it definitely won't be on his play list when he goes on tour next year."

I heard on Sirius Maxim's Channel, that list yesterday. I did hear that part abt that song. Man, I hated that song THEN, and I hate it NOW. What a horrible piece of crap that song was and always will be. What were they both thinking? Love and peace and harmony among all the races of the world?

Irene - remember that picture in Jay Leno's Crime Headlines book? The headline was about two robbers busted, and the picture was of one black sheep and one white sheep. Jay's comment was "Ebony and Ivory..." Tell the truth, all that song does is make me giggle.

The song was not on the McCartney/Wings compilation Wingspan. Then again, neither were The Girl is Mine or Say Say Say.

Thank you for reminding me of that pic in the book.

The Girl is Mine and Say Say Say can be added to that duets list. Those are just horrible. uke:

They may be cheesy as all get out, but that doesn't stop me from singing along whenever I hear them!!

Hey Brian, what were the other "worst duets" on the poll?

They should have changed the lyrics to "Dancing in the SHEETS"...

They also could've made "Dancing WITH A Sheet" featuring just Jagger and Keith Richards.

Oh man! You guys don't know a classic! LOL!! I remember the summer when that song came out. The local radio station played it every half hour I swear.

I loathed it then. I like it now- just because it brings back some good memories.

I hear that. Separately, ICONS AND LEGENDS. But together, that was as you stated, just wrong. I remember when that song came out and the stupid video was constantly being played. I remember when the song was even played on LIVE-AID! Oh God, talk abt overplay.
