Default Burst

A little more than forty-eight hours ago, I responded to the thread titled "We Need to see More GAB on DVD". As things stand now, I am the second to last poster on that thread. One thing that I "really" enjoyed about making that response was getting to reminise about seeing Samantha burst Katie's bubble at the end of "Samantha's Protest". I thought that that was such a humorous form of poetic justice! Those of you who like to read about peoples' bubbles being bursted might want to go the "The Brady Bunch" page of this site as well as the one on "Jump the Shark" Earlier this evening, I posted messages about a case in which Cindy's bubble was bursted in very much the same way as Katie's was in this episode. The episode of "The Brady Bunch" that I am referring to is "The Snooperstar". This episode was in the fifth and last season and it is my all-time "favorite" episode of the whole series! I would say that, in the same way that Katie got what she deserved for thinking that she was such a sex kitten, Cindy got what she deserved for snooping in her sister's diary. "Samantha's Protest" is my favorite episode of season three and my third favorite episode of the entire season. In addition to being for happy to get a response to this thread, I would also be "very" interested in what other fans think of either of those "Brady Bunch" posts!

My memory is foggy on a lot of the GAB episodes from season 3 on, since I haven't seen them in years. That's why I'm so eager for more DVD sets.

I have no problem understanding what the last poster meant about not having a vivid memory of the episodes after the second season. It has been a "long" time since this series has been syndicated on any of the major cable networks! However, when I first started this thread, I went into quite a bit of detail regarding the thrid season episode titled "Samantha's Protest". If the last poster or anyone else has any special interest in that episode, I know where they can see at least one clip from it. They can go to a site called "YouTube. By watching this clip you will get to see some of Katie's fruitless efforts to flurt her butt off with the handsome guy from the protest! It is "very" amusing! If you watch this incident, it will wet your apitite so that when and if ever this season comes out on DVD, you can "really" get the joy of seeing her bubble bursted in the end!

Default Happy

I would just like all other fans to know how "happy" I was this evening to see that there was "finely" a new post on the "Gimme a Break!" page of a site called "Jump the Shark"! It seemed like for "ever" that my post was the last one on that page! Needless to say that I jumped at the chance to respond to it. In any event, I have posted quite a bit about the similarities between the way the Katie's bubble was bursted in a third season episode of "Gimme a Break!" and the way that Cindy's bubble was bursted in a fifth season episode of "The Brady Bunch". I have written about these comparisons in both of these shows' pages on this site as well as both in "Jump the Shark". I would be "very" interested in reading about what people who have watched both of these shows think of the parrelells in situations! One thing that I think is for sure is that "both" girls got what they deserved!
