Default 'Family Guy' Celebrates 100 Episodes With Special Retrospective Nov. 4

The outrageous antics of the Griffin family show no signs of stopping as Family Guy takes a look back at the funniest and most satiric scenes of the past on a special all-new half-hour tribute "The Family Guy 100th Episode Special" airing Sunday, Nov. 4 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

"Stewie Kills Lois," "Family Guy's" 100th milestone episode, will air immediately following the special beginning at 9:00 ET/PT.

The "Family Guy" tribute special celebrates the side-splitting irreverent humor of this fan-favorite animated series by taking a look back at some of the funniest moments, satirical spoofs and music numbers of the past 100 episodes.

In the 100th episode, Lois and Peter go on a cruise, leaving Stewie and the family behind. When Stewie gets upset with Lois for leaving him at home, he vows to carry out a diabolical plan. When Brian challenges him to actually do it, Stewie stows away on the ship, finds Lois and, well, the title of the episode says it all.

So is Lois going to be dead for good? I'm guessing Death will be an integral part of this episode and he'll probably give Lois her life back as a favor to Peter or something.

She's not dead.I just don't get how it took her a year for her to get home. The part I liked the most was where after the Kool-aid guy comes in crashing through the wall then leaves, the judge tells people to stop saying "oh no" in the court room
Judge: Mr. Foreman, how say you?
Foreman: We find Peter Griffin guilty of murder in the first degree.
Peter: Oh no!
Bruce: Oh no!
Brian: Oh no!
Meg: Oh no!
Chris: Oh No!
Kool-Aid Guy: (Crashes through courtroom wall) Oh yeaaaah!
(slowly backs out)
Judge: Okay, can I ask everyone to please stop saying "Oh no" in this courtroom? Cause the f***ing Kool-Aid Guy's gonna keep showin' up. Thank you.

It was a so-so episode for me. Very suspenseful, but not true to the FAMILY GUY tradition: funny. The enjoyment I got out of it was the suspense and a few jokes such as the afore mentioned Kool-Aid bit. But it was certainly not a half-hour packed with laughs like most FG episodes are. I don't know what they were aiming to do (probably encourage more viewers with the suspenseful plot), but whatever they did, it didn't really do anything spectacular for me. The retrospective was pretty good, but they should've focused more on clips, not the "reactions" of the people.
