do you prefer vanessa, aka wilhelmina slater in ugly betty, as an actress or a singer?

it's interesting to watch the videos to her classic hit songs on youtube, and as i do, it makes me wonder why her pop career was cut short. she's a fantastic singer, as well as actress, there are not that many celebrities who can act and sing well, all at the same time. those that do are often known as 'multi-talented'

I like her better as an actress, her singing was okay though, nothing to write home about, but it's was decent.

She is both a great singer and a great actress!

I believe she has had her time as a singer and wants to branch out in her acting career. When she feels she has achieved that she might someday cut an album or better yet, talk the writers into doing some sort of musical version as a episode. Who knows?

she still sings for all I know. She did a Christmas album 2004 and a covers album the next year, she had a huge hit in the dance clubs with a remix of "You Are Everything" from that album too.

She always acted alongside the singing, it's just that now that she's not scoring hits like she once did, she gets more attention as an actress.
