Default The Term "FRIEND WITH BENEFITS" was discussed on the Today Show?? lol

Lot of College students have admitted to having a friend with Benefits and it was discussed today on the Today show about whether it's HEALTHY or HAZARDOUS?-lol Well It's defintely LESS STRESSFUL than a relationship.

BTW: years ago I didn't know what a friend with benefits was and I assumed it was a Guy with a Good Job, Good Credit, and a Nice House, Car,.and a lot of money-LOL

I can understand college kids having those type of relationships because between studying, working, and going to class, there is no time for anything serious

friends with benefits doesn't pay off because always one party or the other starts developing deeper feelings and it leads to a strain and friendships can rarely recover. I lost a really close friend over this type of arrangement.

Right. I guess it takes two mature people to have to get into these relationships. Some people can be deeply hurt. Then again, two people who don't give a rat's a$$ abt people's feelings can probably work "friends with benefits" relationships better.

I couldn't have that kind of relationship.

i've had a bit of a "friends with benefits" type of relationship with my best friend, off and on for about a year now, ever since we broke up. he's dated other people and encourages me to do the same, but we still have deep feelings for each other, so things kind of happen while neither of us is seeing anyone else. we just don't think we should be more than friends right now.

*teehee* I just knew you'd chime in.

The FWB deal has crossed my mind more than once. It is actually a lot more to it than it sounds and more than it actually is when you actually come down to it. I always go back and forth with these feelings. I do think that can be tricky because then it leaves a hurt vs. lust feeling in one or both parties. It also depends on the people involved and whether or not they are ready for any future consequences derived from it.
