J: (Sweeping the floor)
B: (Counting the money for the day)
N and T: (Stocking up on items)
B: Hm..let's see...$250.00...that's not THAT horrible.
J: (Turns around) But of course not enough for Blair. (Turns back around and continues sweeping the floor)
T: Oh, guys I'm going to the new restaurant downtown with Nat and Mrs. Garett..tomarrow night..do you guys wanna come?
B: What's its class??
T: I don't know...middle??
B: Hm..I gotta think...(Long pause) Alright I'll go.
N: Jo??
J: Oh..Sorry I can't. I'm going out with the new guy I met.
B: (Picks head up) Oh??
J: Oh god...
N: What's his name Jo??
J: (Sighs) Ken.
T: Ooo...Ken...sounds good! (Smiles)
B: Let me guess...he owns a motorycycle??
J: No!
B: (Sighs in relief) Thank heavens! Finally you got a little taste!
N: Where are you going with him?
J: His place.
T: HIS place??
J: Yeah..what's so wrong with that?
B: Probably can't afford any other place.
J: Watch it!
(Mrs. Garett comes in)
MG: Blair, have you counted the money for today?
B: Oh..yeah..$250.00.
MG: Oh, well that's not bad. You can go Blair.
B: (Leaves)
J: How come she gets to go??
MG: Well because she finished what she had to do??
N: That sounds reasonable. (Grins)
MG: (Smiles)
J: Well..I'm done sweeping. Can I go Mrs. G?
MG: Yes, Jo you can go.
J: Ok..thanks. (Leaves)
N: Mrs. Garett can me and Tootie go??
MG: Are you finished stocking up?
N: No..
MG: Well there's your answer then! (Smiles)
((The Girl's Bedroom))
J: Blair..I need your help.
B: (Turns around and smiles) Oh??
J: (Rolls eyes) Just this once. I need to know what to wear tomarrow night.
B: Well certainly not one of those army t-shirts!!
J: Then what?!
B: You mean you don't have anything else?
J: I never said that! (Looks around the room for a while and then turns back to Blair) No I don't have anything else.
B: (Gets up) Jo...Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo, Jo...
J: (Groans)
B: If you WANT...you can borrow one of my fabulous dresses...
J: Nah thanks. I don't wanna look like Marilyn Monroe.
B: Ugh..suit yourself!! (Leaves)
(The phone rings)
J: (Gets up to answer it) Hello?? (It is Ken)
K: Hey..Jo??
J: Ken!! What's going on??
K: Oh nothing much..just checking to make sure our date at my place is still on tomarrow night.
J: Oh it is alright.
K: Great. I got a huge surprise for ya.
J: What is it??
K: Well lemme just give ya this hint...you'll love it. I'll pick ya up at eight ok?
J: Alright.
K: Okay..see ya tomarrow night! (Hangs up)
J: (Smiles to herself wondering what the surprise is)

TJ only doesn't like it when you bump old arguments back to the top. And in the case of the main board, also like, old scheduling things which confuses some people if they don't look at the date. Even I sometimes bump old stories back up in the hopes someone might finish them. I hate unfinished ones, especially good ones.

Ok everybody I have decided, out of the kindness of my heart to finish yet one more fanfic that Blair_4 has started but painfully left abandoned . . . lol but anyways ill finish this one cuz after a month of thinkin i got an idea of where to go on it . . . so here ya go . . . .

(The next day in the shop, Jo and Mrs G are in the kitchen while the others are all in the shop finishing there chores)
Jo: Mrs G can I go now, I need to go get ready for my date with (sighs)Ken . .
Mrs G: ok Jo but just this once.
Jo:Thanx Mrs G your the best
Mrs G: I know (laughs with big smile)
(while Jo is taking off her apron. . .)
Mrs G: So Jo where are you and Ken going?
Jo: (realizing Mrs G wouldnt let her go to his's place without hearing a lecture she just says) umm to a movie and pizza
Mrs G: oh sounds like fun
Jo: uhh ya well im gonna go now b4 blair comes in here and bugs me to do my make up or suttin
Mrs G: (laughs) ok Jo, and one more thing
Jo: yes (sighs)
Mrs G: what time will you be back?
Jo: uhh 12?
Mrs G: ll:30
Jo: fine
Mrs G: (smiles)have fun!!

~~~ A little later the girls are all in the room while Jo is gettin ready~~~

Blair: Jo, Jo, the army suit again?
Jo: Blair dont start with me . . .
Blair: ok ok
Tootie: hey Jo why dont you borrow my sweater with those jeans?
Jo: ok thanx tootie
Tootie: No problem
Natalie: So Jo do u know what Ken is gonna be surprising you with tonight?
Jo: no i have no clue, knowing him its something special . . .
Blair: ya maybe a walk, with a nice view of the city dump, (laughs) i kill myself
Jo: good then im not gonna have to
Blair: Sorry Jo jus had to
Jo: ya whateva
Natalie: maybe he made dinner, u know to lighten the mood for the rest of the night if you know what i mean
Jo: Nat!!!
Natalie: Hey u never know, surprises come in all types of packages( they all laugh except Jo)
Jo: hahaha im leavin now
( the girls all say bye)

~Its later and Jo is standing outside of Ken's house~~
Jo:K now to see what your surprise is( she knocks)
Ken:Hey babe
Jo: Hey
(they share a quick kiss)
Ken: is this when i should say come in? (laughs)
Jo: uhh it would be nice
Ken: ok but first close ur eyes and no peakin or its out with you (teasin her)its time for your surprise
Jo: ok daddy
Ken: funny, k now close your eyes
Jo k ok ( Jo closes her eyes)
Ken: (takes Jo's hands and leads her into the house, and to the living room where he has prepared a nice dinner lit with candles and more)
Ken: ok Jo, open em . .
Jo: (opens her eyes and it stunned at how good the dinner looked and surprised at how Ken did all this for her)
Jo: oh Ken you didnt have to
Ken: i wanted to, i love you Jo, you make me happy all the time, your beutiful, those green eyes of yours make we weak (smiles)
Jo: (smiles and is at lost for words) I cant beleive you, your so sweet and Ken I love you too, I know its soon for us but i dunno its just you (laughs)
(Ken and Jo kiss passionately)
Ken: ok enough of that for now, the food is getting cold, madam if I may escort you to your table?
Jo: you may (smiles and holds her arm out)
Ken: takes her mom and leads her to her seat, ur throne! and now a little extra surprise for our pleasure and for this dinner
Jo: what is it? (she asks as she watches Ken go into the kitchen)
Ken: this( he comes back holdin a bottle of wine) you want some?
Jo: i dunno, o what the hell a lil wont hurt
Ken: ahh a women who can take it
Jo: you got it( smiles)
Ken: (laughs, he opens the bottle pours two glasses and they eat)

~~ A lil while later the dinner is finished and Jo and Ken are both full, Jo has had a little too much of the wine and Ken regrets not noticing because now Jo seems drunk, as he looks at the time he see's 12:10~~~

Ken: (Ken is shocked at how late it is realizing the night was so perfect time flew by meanwhile Jo was on the couch pratically drugged she had 5 glasses while Ken had two, what a moron i am he thought, i let her drink too much and it must be too late)
Ken: uhh Jo what time were you supposed to be back home?
Jo: i dunno weven-berty i tink
Ken: great, look Jo i gotta bring you home its already past the time you were supposed to be back . .
Jo: oh no im havin way too much wun
Ken: ya you are enjoy it know though cuz once you go home, ur not gonna be
Jo: what?
Ken: nothing cmon i gotta get you home, uhh how did you get here Jo?
Jo: my motocycle
Ken: great
Jo: ya well im gonna go now then
Ken: no ur not, im gonna drive you
Jo: and my fike?
Ken: you can get it tomorrow
Jo: o ok lets go then
Jo: voom, voom , voom i want to go voom voom vooom
Ken: O great

~~~ Ken leads JO into the car and brings her home, he hopes that mrs g aint up, Jo is still drunk and she is stumbling when she is walking to the door~~

Ken: Look Jo your gonna get in trouble
Jo: what do u mean?
Ken: well for one you were supposed to be home at 11:30 its now 12:30
Jo: O
Ken: and your drunk as an old geiser
Jo: O
Ken: ya look Jo as soon as you get in there u gotta go strait upstairs, very slowly, dont let anybody see you
Jo: jeesh do i look that bad?
Ken: no its just that ur wobbly and people will notice your drunk by the way you are walking
Jo: O ok
Ken: look i gotta go
Jo: Ok, tanx for the night

Jo gets out of the car and goes into the house where it is pitch dark, she gets into teh living room, to go up and the light turns on. . . its Mrs G
Mrs G: Jo!! what a movie u watched huh?
Jo: uhh ya it was really good
Mrs G: what did u watch that made you come home an hour and 15 minutes later than when you were supposed to be?
Jo: uhh we watched uhh
Mrs G: stop lying Jo i know where you were

Mrs G: yes you were at Ken's, you got alot of explaining to do, and whats that smell?

Jo just stares at Mrs. G who is very aggrivated and dissapointed in Jo
Mrs G: Jo what is that smell? she asks again
Jo: Smell?
Mrs G: Yes you smell like . . . she moves closer to Jo and Jo slowly moves back . ..
U SMELL LIKE ALCAHOL!!!!
Jo: uhh i do?
Mrs G: YES JO U DO!!!
Jo: Mrs G pleeze stop yelling, my head is killing
Mrs G: (thinks to herself) ok Jo since its so late we'll have this discussion in the morning
Jo: uh huh
Jo turns to go upstairs but she is wobbly and is missing the stairs, Mrs G sighs and helps her up the stairs . . .
Mrs G: Jo i cant beleive you
Jo: what?
Mrs G: nothing, (she helps Jo to bed)goodnight
Jo: huh?
Mrs G: nothing
Jo oooo (she falls asleep)
Mrs G: ( just watches, she is very dissapointed in Jo but she smiles at the sight of Jo) what got into her? guess ill find out in the morning she thought to herself.

Its the next morning and all the girls are up, well Tootie, Natalie and Blair are at least, Jo is still asleep.

Blair: ahh another beutiful Saturday
Natalie: uh huh
Tootie: Jo looks dead.
Blair: she is sleeping Tootie
Tootie: I know that Blair but she looks pale
Blair: oh well. . . lets go downstairs and leave her alone.
Natalie: wow, Blair caring bout Jo, i never thought i would witness the day
Blair: uhh im not, i just want her to stay asleep, its the only time im really at peace
( they laugh and go downstairs)

They walk downstairs and see Mrs Garrett just staring into midair)
Natalie: Earth to Mrs Garrett she said after Mrs G didnt even realize they were there.
Mrs G: oh hi girls, Jo up yet?
Tootie: nope she's out like a light
Mrs G: o ok
Blair: Whats wrong Mrs. Garrett?
Mrs G: girls its Jo, she dissapointed me greatly last night
Natalie: why what happened?
Tootie: ya what did she do now?
Mrs G: well girls this conversation does not leave this table . . .
Natalie: ok
Blair: fine
They all look at Tootie after she gives no response
Mrs G: Tootie not a word!!
Tootie: ok ok
Mrs G: well it all started when I heard you guys talkin about where Jo really was . . .

While Mrs G is explaining the story to the girls we see Jo getting up.

Jo gets up to find herself alone in the room, she looks at the time it is 9 am, she realizes she is gonna be late for schoool but then remembers its a Saturday. Kewl she thinks, then she gets this bad feeling that she is forgetting something, then it comes back to her and she remembers how much trouble she is gonna be in once Mrs G sees she is awake, well she thought no hiding from it, i better go downstairs and deal with it. She walks to the door and opens it and leaves. As she is walking to the kitchen she is cursing herself realizing how much of a dope she was for gettin drunk. . . she goes down the stairs to find Tootie, Natalie and Blair just staring at her

Jo: what?
Blair: Jo how could you?
Jo: Blair leave me alone, i didnt realize I was getting drunk and I didnt realize the time.
Natalie: the night go that good
her and Tootie giggle
Jo: Nat!!!
Blair: So Jo what was his surprise, was it good?
Jo: guys it was great, i got there and he let me in and we went in the kitchen and there was the nicest dinner by candlelight,(she sighs) it was so romantic, he told me he loved me you know?
Blair: was that before or after you were drunk, maybe you misunderstood,(they giggle)
Jo:no i didnt misunderstand Blair, it was before he even brought the wine out ...
Blair: ooooo
Tootie: so why did u get home so late?
Jo: we talked about everything, before we knew it was 12:30. Mrs G around?
Blair: no she went upstairs, Jo i hate to be the bearer of bad news but she says she wants to have a private chat with you in her room in 20 minutes, she says for you to eat and get dressed and meet her there . . .
Jo: o no the last time she had a serious chat in her room with a girl was when she thought Nancy was pregnant
Tootie: yep good luck Jo
Jo: im not gonna eat, im just lost my appetite, plus i aint feelin too good
Natalie; alcahol can do that to ya Jo
Jo: uhh i guess, im gonna go now
Blair: you have our prayers Jo
Jo: thanx ill need em

Jo goes upstairs to her room, the long way not by Mrs Garretts room, she is dreading going there, she goes to her room, gets dressed and all the while she continues cursing herself for gettin drunk, she walks down to mrs garretts room take a deap breath and knocks on the door . . .
