What did everyone else think of last week's episode, "Kara," which introduced
Clark Kent to his cousin (the future Supergirl)? I thought it was pretty good ... although the explanation for Lana Lang's faking her own death--the clone premise--seemed pretty flimsy. But I guess they had to figure out some way for her to survive, since the grown-up Lana (played by Annette O'Toole coincidentally) did appear in the movie "Superman III." |

I think she's great, it's awesome how they're doing to flying scenes. Can't wait to see if Clark will fly this year.

The second Kara episode, "Fierce," was quite good, too (perhaps even better
than the first one). The contrast is interesting because Clark always tried to hide his superpowers and fit in and it's obvious that he is going to have his hands full getting Kara to adjust to living among humans. It should provide a great premise for the seventh season. |

Not too sure what i think of Kara. Judging by her midriff baring wardrobe, I'm thinking the Smallville producers are pulling a "Seven Of Nine" stunt here (bringing in some eye candy to keep audiences interested) but I'm willing to give her a chance. I'm sure they'll have her in a bikini by November sweeps.

Okay, now that I've got my shots in at the blonde supergirl, I have a few theories:
Kara was sent to Earth to find baby Kal-El and eithr kill him or train him. Kara's sleep programming got screwed up after she crashed, so she doesn't know her mission was to take over Earth with Kal-El. Jor-El's mystery brother is probably in league with Zod. I think.

No, actually Laura Vandervoort (Kara) appeared in a bikini in the second episode ("Fierce"), which aired October 11th ... but it made sense because all the other beauty pageant contestants also wore swimsuits. |

Remember Lois' stripper dance a few years back? Gotta love Smallville's way of keeping the male audience around.
