The Alien Encounter

This is my first fan fiction.

It was a nice night. the kind of night Tootie and Natalie had planned it to be. They had been planning to vandalize Bates academy for months. This was to be the greatest ploy the two had ever played on anybody. "This is going to be great!" laughed Natalie."Shh" said Tootie.They were lugging a huge box filled with the necessities needed for the stratagem. They were only 3 yards away from the school when the air started to get thick. Fog was covering everything. The night had changed drastically. "Nat?" Maybe we should turn back." Tootie said nervously. Natalie dropped her side of the box and said, "No! Tootie we have planned this for months! I have TORTURED myself keeping this a secret for TOO long to just turn back now! Now come on! "But Natalie..." Natalie interrupted Tootie."Look!" Just above some trees left of Bates were some lights; flasing red blue and purple. "Natalie?" cried Tootie,"Whats that?"Natalie just stood there, staring.The trees were swaying in the strong wind. Suddenly Natalies surprised face turned into her signature excited face. "Come on" she said. She ran towards the lights. "Natalie" Tootie said as Natalie disappeared into the fog. Tootie was forced to follow her. As they entered the clearing they saw a huge...something generating the lights. Natalie was jumping around."Nat! Lets go back to the school!"cried Tootie. "In a minute!" There was a humming noise. Tootie started pulling Natalie's. "COME ON NAT!" she dragged her out of the clearing.

Later in the girls room the lights came on.
"Hey!" yelled Jo. "Everyone," cried Natalie,"We were at Bates and we saw ALIENS!"
Blair lifted her head,"What were you doing at Bates at this hour?" she asked.
"That's not important!" Tootie said,"I've never been so scared in my life!" Natalie ran passed her," I've got to get my camera! Maybe it'll still be there!" She grabbed her camera and ran out the door. "Natalie!" Jo yelled. But Natalie was already out the door so she covered her head up with the blanket to try to sleep. "I'm never going back there again!" Tootie said.
Blair's eyes widened, "You CAN'T be SERIOUS!" she said in disbelief. "BLAIR, GO TO SLEEP!" Jo said from under the covers. Blair said,"But Tootie! There are MEN there!" Tootie turned to Blair and said, "I don't care!"
Jo uncovered herself and said, "Tootie it's probably those Bates boys duping you!" Tootie turned to Jo and said "You weren't there,Jo! It was so real!" "Oh Tootie," Jo said,"Just go to bed!" "I can't" Tootie yelled," Nat's still out there!" "Tootie!!!"
Then Mrs. Garrett walked in the room, "What's all the shouting about?" Jo said,"Natalie and Tootie think they saw aliens." "Aliens? "Mrs Garrett said, "Tootie? Where is Natalie?"
Tootie said"She went to go take a picture of the aliens." "What?" She asked, "Where?" Tootie told her at Bates.
Mrs. Garrett went to Bates to look for Nat.

On her way to Bates Mrs. G ran into Natalie reterning home. "Mrs. Garrett I didn't get the pictures." She said.

The next day in the cafeteria the girls were talking about what happened the night before.
"I know it was real." Natalie said, "I just got there to late to photograph it." Jo replied, " I can't believe you you two! It's the Bates boys! And I'll prove it. Tootie asked, "How?" Jo said, "I'm going to Bates Academy and find proof that they caused those lights you saw!"
Jo left immediatly after school. She was determined to prove that the Bates Boys were responsible for what Natalie and Tootie saw last night. She entered the clearing and looked around.In the daylight it wasn't hard to figure out what made those lights.I know it! Said Jo, There was a rustling in the trees. "Who's there!" Jo shouted, "Show yourself!" Natalie apeared from the trees. "Hi Jo." She said chearfuly. "Natalie" Jo scolded, "Don't sneak upon me!" her glare became more stern,"What are you doing here anyway?I thought I told you to stay at school!"Natalie looked behind Jo and looked dissapointed, "Is that the alien spaceship?" Jo nodded. "Jo? It was the Bates boys?" "Yes Natalie, but they didn't do it to keep you and Tootie from vandalize their precious school! They didn't even know what you were up to! They were playing a football game! The lights you saw were the lights of the score board!" Natalie stared at the dark score board. "Jo, score boards don't have blue lights and what about the humming?"
Jo turned to leave," The roar of the crowd. Come on, we have better things to do than to stand around here all day." Natalie followed." But Jo, it wasn't here when I got back! And how do you explain the fog?"
"NAT!"

Back at Eastland, "But Jo!" Natalie said,"I'm sure it wasn't a score board and if you were there you'd agree!"Jo countered, "Nat, just drop it!" Mrs. Garrett walked inand said "You girls still agruing about the aliens?" Both Natalie and Jo said yes at the same time. "But Jo, I thought you solved that." "I did!" Jo said," It was the Bates boys playing football!" Mrs. Garrett turned pale,"Jo... Bates Academy didn't have a ball game of any kind last night..." Jo said nothing. "So it was aliens!" Natalie said. Blair said," Tom said that some strange things happened over there last night." Jo stood up,"TOM? You still dating that jerk?" "Tom is a very respectable and dignified yound man,Jo." Jo argued, "He's a tramp!" Mrs. Garrett interrupted,"Girls, girls! Natalie, are you and Tootie sure you saw something out there?" "Yes Mrs.Garrett."
Mrs. Garrett sat down.

Mrs. G! Yelled Jo, "You can't be saying Natalie and Tootie actually saw aliens!?.
Mrs. Garrett regained her color,"I don't know what they saw. But I do know they saw something."
Jo fell silent.

That night in the girls room the lights were off. But Natalie snuck out.She was determined to prove that aliens were at Bates. She took her camera and a flashlight. Natalie knew what she saw was not a scoreboard. And as a good Jounalist she had to find out the truth.
The night was dark and Natalie had a hard time finding Bates. When she did find it she combed the clearing for any proof an alien spacecraft was there. All she found was a gum wrapper and an old chicken bone. Suddenly Natalie heard a rustling in the trees surrounding the clearing. Thinking fast Natalie picked up the chicken bone and threw it. "OW! Hey!" came a very familiar voice. Jo appeare from the trees. "Jo?" said Natalie. "Who'd you expect, Frankensteins monster?" Jo said angrily while rubbing er head. "Sorry Jo." Natalie said sincerely. "What are you doing here,Nat?" Jo asked. Natalie said, " I was looking for proof of aliens." Jo glared at her,"Natalie..." Natalie interupted Jo, "Jo, I'm a Journalist and I have to find the truth!" Jo said,"The stop chasing a fantasy!"
Suddenly colored lights pierced the night! Jo and Natalie looked up to see a huge machine floating in the sky above them. "...Natalie..." Jo's voice was shaky,"Whats that?" Natalie smiled weakly, "Those are my aliens"
Jo bolted, "Lets get out of here!" Natalie grabbed Jo's hand,"Wait! I need to get a picture!" Jo shrugged Natalie's hand off, "Nat," She said,"Do you know what those people will do to us? Come on!" Once again Natalie was dragged from the clearing.


On the way back to Eastland Jo said, "Nat...we can't tell anybody what just happened."Natalie stopped, "But Jo!" Jo stopped too, still wary about the aliens at bates, "Natalie Mrs. G would just say we weren't supposed to be there and Tootie would just overreact." Natalie thought for a moment, "What about Blair?" she asked. Jo said, "Don't even get me started on Blair, besides, you didn't get any pictures and haven't any proof" Natalie looked back toward Bates. She had dropped her camera in all the excitment and didn't get the proof she needed. "Ok Jo," Natalie said sadly, "I won't tell." Jo said "Good! Noow lets get back to Eastland before we're missed!"

The next day was Saturday, Tootie was going to a play in the Auditorium and Blair was going to meet her mom in the park. Natalie and Jo were studying. When Blair and Tootie left Jo said, "I'm sorry I didn't believe you... you know, about the aliens." Natalie smiled, "Jo, it does't matter;now that you know it was real." "Yea I know but I just want to make it up to you." Natalie shook her head, "Jo, It's over. Tootie has dropped it and if we can't tell anybody we may as well drop it to."
Jo paused then said, "Are you sure?" Natalie put her hand on Jo's shoulder and said, "I'm sure."

Great fan fic. I liked the si-fi genre and i really enjoyed it I hope you write more soon.
