TV Land has become the same way. It seems ethnic shows are now the rage. I am not a Will Smith fan and I always though Fresh Prince was a highly over-rated show. TV Land has played Sanford & Son to death as well. My definition of classic TV is prior to the 1970s, but as time goes on, more and more shows from the 1950s and now the 1960s are soon to be forgotten. Sorry, but I don't think Home Improvement is classic TV, and Fresh Prince and certainly George Lopez are not classic TV, but they reflect the inevitable changes in American culture and there seems to be no way around that.

Another good rant Solomon! Fresh Prince is way too overplayed on the network. I though with HI and Gl, we could get more variety and less Fresh Prince, but that isn't happening at all. We have less variety than ever now. The only 3 shows in primetime now are FP, HI, and GL. Before their additions, we had 5 shows in primetime (AFV, Full house, Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Cosby).

I have not seen Cosby nor Roseanne on N@N anymore. Why didn't FP follow suit?

Good rant my man, you said it again. thanks! I was starting to get into the new schedule of HI and GL. And lo and behold, here comes FP again! What is up with those people? Why do they have to throw that show in at every opportunity? And you are right, as many have stated on here before, how will N@N know what other hits might be out there if THEY DON'T PUT OTHER SHOWS ON THE AIR? That is the million dollar question I hope we get answered soon.

As for Kelly Ripa, I think she likes to teeter on the border, you know, innuendos, just enough sex talk that won't get her in trouble. I bet she got way more laughs than Sherri Sheppard does for her funny remarks. Did Kelly get laughs for that comment Sol?

Yeah, I am sure the older people in the audience didn't appreciate that comment from Kelly. I mean, it does border right there if you know what I mean. What else could she have been trying to say?

Plus they play the heck out of it on The-N as well, and I directv which means i get the west coast feed of Nick.

Now if this isn't the definition of overplayed (See image),then i don't know what is.

Yeah, too much Fresh Prince already! I'm a Fresh Prince fan, and Nick at Nite has made me sick of it. Besides Nick at Nite and TV Land, other channels don't flood the schedule with the top rated show. Give more shows a chance already!

"ethnic" shows are all the rage? Hmm...tell that to Roseanne and all those western shows that TV Land and Nick at Nite seems to play to death.

Hasn't Nick at Nite only had a handful of "ethnic shows" on their channel, in their 20+ years?

Excatly! Nick at Nite only had at least five minority casted shows in the last twenty years so it's clear that the poster has no idea what he/she is talking about.
